Keith and the team have been looking after my XJ40 for a few years now and have always been very accommodating, professional and have such a wealth of knowledge that I have no concerns with running the car and if anything does ever go wrong - I know who to turn to. When I first purchased the car with issues from its original owner - I didn't really know what I was getting into or what the car would truly need to keep it on the road. Keith was very open about it during its initial inspection and giving me his opinion on what was needed. Sometimes it's easy to say a car needs a full rebuild, but my goal has always been to keep the cars originality - and Keith has supported this all the way, which has been most welcome. The team have recently completed a large refresh to the bodywork and removed the usual rot that affects these underappreciated cars. The work was to a very high standard and completed on time. Putting it simply, the car will continue to return here for work and its annual maintenance as I trust the team to look after it. Thanks to everyone.

Just picked up my Daimler Sovereign Coupe after some suspension work and its new undercarriage feels like its cornering on rails. The team even managed to find some more horses under the bonnet so I've been cruising at impressive speeds everywhere I now go.

Thanks to Keith and the team for not only a fab job, but for so generously spending time with me to discuss any and all my concerns with the car plus the next tranche of work - as cashflow permits, of course.

I'm the proud owner of the Daimler XJC Avon Stevens convertible that Keith and the team have been restoring over the last year or so. Its been a brilliant project and I've now got the car back for the first time to shake down before final fettling in May/June back in Eastbourne. Its been an absolute pleasure to deal with Keith - a restoration is always challenging and full of unknowns and surprises. But they adopt a can do attitude, anticipate whats ahead and helped me plan accordingly. We have had a few challenges, esp poor quality new parts supplied by some 'reputable' companies. But they are highly knowledgeable, resourceful, deliver very high quality engineering work and work through solutions. Most impressively, nothing was too much trouble and given that they are very busy - continuously - Keith always got back to me within a few hours or a day at most. That's great customer service. Working on classic cars is a passion and they have it in spades, and that for me is why I chose them in the first place. Ive not been disappointed. I'm delighted with my Avon - it drives superbly and they have helped save a great car. Just need some dry and sunny weather now. Thanks Keith!!

I contacted XJ Restorations as one of many specialists to revive my 1968 Mk2 which had stood in storage for 9 years - completely untouched during that time.

Other companies were rather flaky in their communications - Kieth at XJ was refreshingly honest and because the car was local came and inspected it in person.

After a brief conversation and having seen the standard of work on other vehicles passing through the workshop, XJ Restorations became a very easy decision.



As an expatriate, there's a huge degree of trust required when you're not there to oversee any work. Keith oversaw all arrangements to get the car to the workshop and carry out a full assessment.



Within a day I was in possession of an email detailing the initial findings and work required. All such communication was efficient and honest.

A few days later, the engine was running and the car brought up to MOT standard.



Extra work was carried out, both at my request and at Keith's recommendation and all was completed efficiently and with transparent pricing and invoicing throughout. All told, my car was returned to the road, revitalised for less than the cost of an engine rebuild from certain other specialists.



I can't recommend Keith and the team at XJ Restorations highly enough - an extremely high standard of work at a price that puts many other garages to shame coupled with an enthusiasm and honesty that is refreshing.
