About us
Welcome to Jannatun Nursery, formally known as Chandos Day Nursery & Jannatun childcare. Jannatun childcare was a Ofsted Registered Childminder setting based in Leyton, with the high demand of the Islamic ethos childcare and the Childminder setting not being able to cater for more than 9 children at any one time, both settings combined forces and Jannatun Nursery was formed. We are the only Islamic ethos Day Nursery within the locality who provide flexible childcare.
We provide a high standard of care for all our children by staff who are experienced and qualified. We cater for up to 29 children aged between 0 – 5 years old. We provide a warm, caring and fun environment in which the children can develop in and build a solid foundation for the start of life.
Jannatun Nursery boasts a huge garden for the children to play in which has access to a big netted trampoline, climbing frame and slide as well as a large sand pit and various types of cars / tricycles. There is also a play park next door to the nursery which we take the children to regularly.
We have three play rooms for the children including an area specifically for babies. We have a quiet reading area where the children can rest and sleep.
Jannatun Nursery is an all-inclusive nursery catering to Muslim and non-Muslim children of all races, creed and gender. We provide an Islamic ethos for Muslim children who’s parents want their child to participate in the Islamic ethos. Children who are not Muslim, are welcome to attend the setting also without having the Islamic ethos imposed upon them. The food we provide is all HMC approved, nutritious and freshly cooked on site daily.
We work in close partnership with parents as well as working towards the EYFS framework.
For parents who will need to drive to drop off / pick up their child at the nursery, we have a free car park at the front. Parents are welcome to use it without the worrying about their vehicle.
