Event report: difficult event not knowing how hard to push as the priority for the team was to clinch the championship, proving his maturity and not letting the heart rule the head and be drawn into a battle. Lost a chunk of time when he caught the car in front and struggled to get passed in SS1 (which we accept sometimes happens in rallying) other wise a c...lean run during the day apart from running out of rear 185x13 tyres, having to take s/hand 165x13 tyres off the front of the car and put onto the rear for 2 stages which cost probably cost him the win. Delighted to get to the end, 2nd O/A Historic just 4 secs off the win, but more importantly taking the championship win for O/A Silverstar and the Historic Cup. Now time to say our thank you’s to all the relevant people who have helped George this year, it wasn’t an obvious choice of car after the R2 but it certainly has got him noticed. Having not put a mark on the car all year it’s now time to hand Baz his car back with a massive thank you and look for the next step or opportunity to help George & Tom’s progress. I’m sure there will be a few more posts during next day or two on George’s fb page. Please keep supporting him. #nevergiveup In my opinion, this was his best drive of the season, with pressure to clinch the championship, being stuck behind Theo and running out of tyres. He kept his head and managed it perfectly!

Great day out at Prodrive, with Ralli 22, recording the largest gathering of Subaru WRC ever at Prodrive. Factory tour and chat with DR himself made it worth the effort. Thanks to Steve Davis for organising 👏🏻
