(I love you jay) you won't have to hear that any more.. joking of course you will. no way I could have done this with out you I think your amazing the way you put up with the hard times. It was almost surreal this morning actually having to take my test after the last 2 cancellations. Thank you for putting the time and effort in to getting me this test date. Only you could have got me a cancellation less than a week after. Not to mention that I wasn't charged for the lesson before the previous test. Just goes to show how much you care.

Would like to leave yet another strong recommendation for Jay Patel and his school of motoring. Thanks to him, my husband and I both passed our license 1st time with only a few minors. With his long experience he can really identify what you need to do/ improve to succeed and with great patience and dedication (he needed it with me for sure!) he helps you get there. Be prepared, he will make you work hard but always in a fun atmosphere. There might be a waiting list but if you want the best, it is worth the wait !

Wanted to say a huge thank you to jay Patel (jay’s school of motoring). I’ve just finished refresher lessons (after 17 years) and he was awesome with a very nervous pupil! Highly recommend if anyone else is thinking of learning!!!!

Jay is an excellent driving instructor and definitely one of a kind, when I first started driving compared to now my confidence has grown so much, over these past few months, there were times were I really thought driving wasn't for me but Jay as he is, kept encouraging me and now I can officially say I passed my test first time! Jay is an excellent driving instructor and I would happily recommend him. I've just passed my test first time with only two minors, having put off learning to drive for years. Jay is patient, positive and friendly and was really good at judging what I was capable of even when I doubted myself. My husband commented that I'd been much better prepared for my test than he was years ago. I'm so glad that I took the leap to finally start driving and I'm really excited to get out there on my own.

If anyone is looking for a driving instructor just want to give a big thumbs up for Jay Patel and thanks to the zillions of mums on CP Mums who recommended him and pointed me in his direction. Honestly he will get you to be a good driver whether you have any natural skills or not (me... not!), he really works hard and is super patient. Just passed my test today and am absolutely thrilled!

I've just passed my practical driving test on the first attempt thanks to Jay Patel and his School of Motoring. Jay came highly recommended when I first started looking for a good local instructor and there's a reason for that - he's an awesome instructor who has really guided me from complete novice (no lessons at all before) to passing first time today.



I'd been putting of learning for quite some time (I'm 34 next week) so I'm chuffed to bits with my progress thanks to Jay's patience and sense of humour.



Tends to have a waiting list, but again, there's a reason why.

I passed my driving test on my first attempt and I'm so so chuffed! It is all thanks to the famous Jay Patel! I wouldn't have passed without him. I can't recommend Jay enough. I was quite a nervous driver at first but Jay was so encouraging and patient and he wouldn't let me give up. Jay has definitely made me feel confident behind the wheel and I can't wait to drive my kids places now. He is a lovely guy too which makes his lessons enjoyable. Jay is the best!

I just passed my test and can't quite believe it! Took ages (2 years on and off) but given I felt sick with nerves to start with to now feel confident and enjoy driving is incredible. Jay was very patient - and knew when to push me. Highly recommend.

I just passed my driving test today with Jay. I tried learning before with two previous instructors but didn't even manage to get near a driving test centre. Jay is very thorough, his goal is to get you a license rather than having endless lessons. He covered so much of the test area that today I recognised every single road I drove on and he had pointed out places where other people fail.

I would recommend Jay to anyone wishing to learn to drive wether young or old, confident or nervous.

Huge thank you to Jay Patel! Passed my driving test yesterday totally over the moon and definitely couldn't have done it without his guidance and mega experience. He actually taught me how to drive properly after all these years of driving in the wrong way, in a haphazard manner with terrible bad habits gained from driving in an automatic in Asia!! Jay has also instilled my love of driving manual, i can't wait to drive me and my bubs around especially now its Summer!! wooohoo He is simply the best! highly highly recommended!

Just wanted to leave another great review for Jay Patel and his driving lessons. He has been a great refresher lessons instructor. I had a break from driving since having had my son and lost all my confidence that I could drive. I don't own a car (yet!!) so this added to not much practice and also I wanted to ensure I was safe with a toddler in my care as a driver. Jay is positive, patient and has absolute faith in his students. He is without hesitation one of the best instructors out there. He is very popular and very busy but my advice is he is worth waiting for as you won't be disappointed. Thanks Jay. X

The techniques he uses are explained so well and in detail and very helpful. He gave me the confidence I needed that none of my other instructors gave me! I'm an experienced driver but was totally new to UK roads, so my focus was unlearning bad habits and prepping for the test. With hindsight I can start to appreciate the many ways he prepared me – practically and psychologically – for the big day. In the end, it went so smoothly that I actually enjoyed myself. He's clearly learned a thing or two in the last 25+ years...
