Jeannettes Of Faversham Description
I have been baking cakes, cookies and other goodies ever since my grandmother taught me when I used to have to stand on a stool to reach the counter.
When my daughter was young and cash was tight, I used to bake gifts or make sweets for the family and in later years I baked various themed celebration cakes, from one depicting my father's yacht to a 1930's style birthday cake.
Of course family and friends have always said I should take baking up commercially (they have to be supportive of course! ) but it wasn't until others who weren't related to me started saying the same that I considered it a possibility!
A recent change in my career has opened that opportunity and I am now thrilled to announce Jeannette's Homemade is open for business!

Brilliant day in Faversham. I'm at the Rochester Farmers Market tomorrow 9.00 to 1.00pm
It's Best of Faversham tomorrow and the brilliant Faversham Transport Weekend. We'll be there with our scotch eggs and cakes in Preston Street from 9.30 to 3.30pm. Then on Sunday we're at Rochester Farmers Market in Blue Boar car park.
It's a beautiful day at the Herne Bay Produce and Craft Market here until 2.00pm

Another great day at Herne Bay yesterday where I sold out of chocolate scotch eggs. I will be making more for this weekend when I'm at Best of Faversham market on Saturday and Rochester Farmers Market on Sunday. Please message me if you would like to place an order. They are made with either a Cadbury's creme egg or an Oreo egg in the middle so please let me know which you would like. I will also have my Easter cakes these are either vanilla sponge with raspberry jam and vanilla buttercream or chocolate sponge with chocolate filling and covering. Orders need to be received by Wednesday for collection at either market.

Not only will be have our infamous scotch eggs and delicious cakes but for a limited time only we will have our CHOCOLATE SCOTCH EGGS!! they're made by covering either a Cadbury's cream egg or Oreo egg in brownie, dipped in melted chocolate and covered in chocolate sprinkles.

I am sorry to say that Best of Faversham market has been cancelled this Saturday. Hopefully weather permitting I will be at Rochester Farmers Market on Sunday.

What a lovely weekend!! The weather was glorious didn't even need my coat on today!! Thank you to all my lovely customers who came to see me. Next markets will be Best of Faversham and Chatham Pentagoin Centre on 2nd March
