Apologies to anyone who came to visit the Tea Shop today. Unfortunately, we had a break in at the shop over the weekend and were fixing new locks etc today. But we will be open tomorrow as normal 😃🍰☕️ ❤️

We are certainly celebrating the Royal Wedding at The Tea Shop 🇬🇧 From Monday 14th May to Saturday 19th May we are offering a Royal Afternoon Tea, comprising of a Sandwich of Your Choice from Ham, Tuna, Cheese, or Egg Mayo, (Vegan, Gluten Free and Dairy Free Options also available) Crisps, Salad Garnish, a Cupcake, Scone, Jam, Cream, and a Cup of Tea or Coffee all for £8.50, no booking required 👑😊

Good morning 😃 new on our menu for the summer, freshly made salad bowl with or without pasta. Choices of ham, egg, tuna, cheese, prawn or a mixture. We also have dairy free and vegan options too 😋 We are closing at an earlier time of 2.45pm on Saturday for a private tea party 🎉

Good morning 😊 the Tea Shop will be closed for a mini break from Saturday 24th Feb to Thurs 1st March. We reopen on Friday 2nd March at 9.30am 🍰☕️

Happy Pancake Day!! We will be serving pancakes today with Butterscotch Sauce, Nutella, Jam, or traditional Lemon and Sugar, why not add a scoop of Ice Cream? 😊

We are now proudly providing totally compostable takeaway cups for our teas, coffees and soups. Yes, they are purple, but very green too!! 💜💚

With all the overpriced commercial coffee shops around this little gem is special!fresh homecooked tasty food,cakes are AMAZING,spotless,and Jenny will always give you a warm welcome.look forward to our visit every week,wont go anywhere else!xx

Went to Jenny's tea shop with friends for afternoon tea which was amazing. Fresh sandwiches + homemade cakes delicious very good value for money + a lovely treat. Jenny is also very friendly + accomodating

We visited today, and were more than glad we did!

Perfectly baked jacket potatoes with a good choice of fillings.

Fantastic toastie sandwiches again with a great choice of fillings.

Friendly and welcoming even with a four year old child (colouring book and crayons provided and willing to make the sandwich of his choice!)

And last but no means least fantastic coffee and cakes to brag about!!!

We had the most fabulous Mother’s Day afternoon tea today...even with a grumpy 2 year old!! All the food was beautiful and such lovely staff :) we will all definitely be returning! Thank you!

This place is amazing and Jenny is the most lovely genuine woman you will ever meet , the food is high standard and delicious ! The cakes are homemade and gorgeous! I totally recommend this lovely tea shop .

The food is lovely, comforting, and plentiful. Can thoroughly recommend eating here.

SWaNS CIC have delivered their Survive and Thrive Well-being Day at the library today and Jenny catered the event for us. Everyone loved the delicious choice of sandwiches provided and the cakes were, as ever, a huge success too! Many thanks to Jenny for a lovely lunch and we can't wait for more of the same when we have our next event in the New Year.

Quaint, dignified and friendly; this tea room has bags of charm! The tea was a perfectly varied, with a mix of vegetarian, meat and seafood sandwiches followed by a sweet treat for dessert. This was accompanied by tea and cappuccino's. The sandwiches were unpretentiously tasty, and the desserts (we had a mix of scones and chocolate cake within our group) hit the sweet spot after the savoury affair. It's a great place to sit, relax and chat without feeling rushed out the door. We had a great time and would definitely recommend a visit!

I visited this tea shop for breakfast today. I booked the table via Facebook and said how it was my friends birthday. When we arrived there was a banner and a happy birthday message on the reserved table. A lovely touch I thought. We both ordered the full breakfast and we couldn't fault it. Delicious. Everything about the place was lovely. We will certainly visit again soon. Thank you.

Had afternoon tea for my little girls 6th birthday with her friends. Absolutely fantastic. The food was amazing including the glittery jelly and the birthday cake was to die for. All of the team were amazing and made the afternoon so special. Nothing was too much. Thank you Jenny and team xxxxx
