Jessy Jones Photography Description

Professional Photographer based in Boston, specialising in the art of photographing people - be that at a special occasion, such as your wedding, or a family portrait.

Benefiting from a degree in Fine Art, I grew a fondness for photography from a young age after studying it at A Level whilst studying for my degree. It is my passion, and I'm lucky to say also my career. I work on both location and studio environments throughout the UK, mainly in Lincolnshire and the surrounding counties.

ooo I love an outdoor photoshoot! Our mini sessions are such a great way of capturing your family without it taking up much time at all, no time for the little ones to get restless, 20 mins and your done!
The Capps family kiddies came along for one of our winter mini sessions, welly boots at the ready and off we trotted around the marshy field - These kids were such naturals with each other and in-front of the camera which gave us the most gorgeous resulting photos! the standard has been set everyone! No pressure 😁

Afternoon all! Having a fun weekend? The studio is officially cleared of all things Christmassy and back to its glorious simplicity. Therefore it’s officially back open for bookings until April, at which point weddings season is going mental this year.
If you would like some photos of your little ones please get in touch or tag your chums who may be interested 🥰

Im sure many of you have noticed the beautiful big full "cold moon" ( also known as the wolf moon ) this evening.
If you fancy a bit of geeking you can also witness a penumbral lunar eclipse tonight. Only the more diffused outer shadow of Earth comes across the moon’s face so you won't get to see the missing 'chunk' of the moon like you would see in a partial or total eclipse, but its still very much worth getting your winter warmers on and going and having a sit in the garden 🙂 and of course I had to have a cheeky photo whilst I was out there... Enjoy!

Well hello there 2020! yes i may be a bit late to the party but we've had a house full of sickness over the festive season so now we are finally back and rearing to go in the 20's :D
So - can I just start by saying what an immense year for weddings 2019 was, it may of rained a bit, ok a hell of a lot. But that didn't stop any of my amazing couples having one hell of a wedding day, I had such an amazing time with you all and whilst looking through all of the albums, I've str...uggled to choose just one favourite from every one of them. You've put up with my random ideas, walked across muddy fields, stood in the freezing cold and got drenched in the rain all to make my ideas for your photos to come to life; from the bottom of my heart thank you to each and everyone of you for having me, you all rock!
To all my couples getting married in 2020! give us a wave! THIS is your year guys! Woo!

Well, this was my last shoot of 2019, and I have to say it was a particularly special one.
Our family is the most important thing in the world to us all, When one of them is battling a terminal illness I think its so important to spend as much time together as possible capture as many memories as you can, its times like these that photographs become something priceless.
Stanney/Pringle family. Your strength is inspiring and I wish you all the most wonderful, magical Christmas together. <3

For todays share lets talk about Venues.
Im very lucky that I get to travel around and experience lots of amazing venues and the people who run them.
A wedding venue is an incredibly personal choice for a bride and groom, it needs to represent them as a couple, have personality and the vision that they have for their big day.
... Being in the wedding industry for 8 years now, i've worked alongside some amazing venue owners and wedding planners, with some venues that work with on a regular basis, such as Poachers Country Hotel, the Granary, Stoke Rochford Hall and others where this year has been my first time, all of them gave the most amazing services.
Rather than me drone on about 'how to choose a wedding venue' the fab people over at Bridebook have done a pretty great break down of all the different things to consider when choosing a venue, so if your currently in the planning stage, give it a read here: https://bridebook.co.uk/…/top-10-tips-f or-choosing-your-wed…
Heres some of my recent venues 😀 - Can you spot yours?

Well, that's me officially finished for 2019 weddings! So its given me a little time to sit and reflect on all the different wedding days ive been so lucky to be part of this year. Ive decided to do a few little posts about different aspects of peoples days, Some to maybe give a bit of inspiration to others, share some of my favourite pics and generally share the love of some pretty spectacular days.
So lets start with Bride and grooms.
The ones who love each other so much ...that they stand in front of a room full their loved ones and tell them what their partner means to them, alongside giving each other their life long commitment. These are the people who chose pretty much every aspect of the day that you as a guest got to see (me included), had late night stresses and moments of panic all for it to turn out to be the most magical day.
So, to all my 2019 bride and grooms, It was an absolute pleasure to photograph your amazing day....You rock!
If theres something particular you would like to see a collection of - maybe looking few ideas for your own day? Like to see all the amazing 2019 dresses? flower ideas? Cakes? leave a comment and let me know what you'd like to see :D

Families.. Your one of my most favourite things to photograph, wether its a straight up 2.4 children, single mums, single dads, grandparents, aunts and uncles, two mums, two dads, foster parents, adoptive parents, cats, dogs and any other kind of family member there is. Each and every shoot is different and each one is so full of love for each other and it just brings the biggest of smiles to my face.
Laura brought her hubby, son and parents along for a surprise shoot for her mums birthday on our mini shoot weekender and I'm so in love with the resulting photographs, we had singing, mexican waves, walking in the woods on a chilly winter morning. Perfection.
