There are many reasons why our Korean Fried Chicken is the best (& crispiest) in London. Reason #1 : We add vodka to the batter to eliminate the gluten development process when double-fried. We stopped for wine and a snack on our way to meet friends, very friendly and chatty staff, the chicken and Malbec were excellent . We were made very welcome even though we weren’t staying long.. planning to book and do it properly very soon.

User

We had an amazing time here. Service was excellent and staff were attentive.

We order lots of dishes to share and all were fantastic. We could not fault any of the food even the desserts, they looked and tasted amazing.

We would recommend this little place to all we know to try at least once.

Thank you for a great experience.

User

Really lovely evening - staff were friendly, food came quickly but not too fast that we felt rushed. The food itself was presented well, and tasted great. We had a selection of four smaller dishes between the two of us which was just right for us. Drinks selection is wide and varied, and includes interesting and unique drinks not seen elsewhere.

Recommended: Korean fried chicken, short rib tacos

User

Probably one of the most exciting menus in London. It’s all about sharing here because you simply have to.

User

Only stopped off for a couple of cocktails but service was great, waiter was very friendly, will be back for food definitely, it looked delicious but we were full from our brunch !!

User

Nice friendly service. Went on Thursday for lunch at 12. Was surprised it was not too busy. We had the Korean chicken got 3 pieces each portion. They were really nice. Also had pork and beef Mandoo. Also very tasty.

Then we both had a bibimab. Filling couldn’t finish mine.

Rather on the pricey side for our taste but it was a special occasion.

Would recommend.

User

First time I’ve ever tried Korean food and I was not disappointed. I tried Korean Fried Chicken for a starter and it was amazing. For mains I opted for Bibimbap with kimchi and bulgogi beef. Totally delicious and bursting with spice and flavour. Went down well with some Hite beer! For dessert, I had the Jin Tiramisu. Let’s just say it was the best non-Italian tiramisu I’ve ever tried! Loved the ambience of the restaurant and the music being played by the DJ. Staff were very pleasant and upbeat and went to great lengths to explain the menu. Me and my mum have now fallen in love with Korean food; living proof that food itself can be healthy and tasty at the same time!

User

Fantastic. Having watched Judy Joo on daytime TV I thought we’d give a try so glad we did as the food was fabulous. My wife had sae woo pops and a mixed salad with deep fried tofu (gorgeous) and I had kimchi and Bibimbap a South Korean favourite. Can’t fault the place and the staff were really friendly too.

User

Every time we choose Jinjuu it gets better and better. And a big thank you to the staff for making a fuss of our 4yr old, he loves the kids menu.

User

Visited this restaurant for our anniversary hubby having been before. I love Korean food and usually go to a great place in Earlsfield. Food here was delicious I did find not a huge selection for a veggie/pescatarian but what I had was delicious veggie dumplings to die for and bibimap for main. One thing waiter did try and push 2 starters and main way too much food hubby did this I had just right amount. It's a full on place not somehow if you are thinking romantic. I am intrigued to try more food so will be visiting again. Service was great.

User

The food was first class and interesting combinations, as a group of 4 we shared multiple dishes and couldn't choose a favourite as they were all superb! 4 Stars!

Unfortunately our Dining experience was destroyed by a large group in the middle of our meal who turned up and greeted each other with high pitch screams and shrills whilst standing right over our table and didn't take there seats for a full 15mins.... Very rude and selfish group and unfortunately the staff were very slow to react to the situation only after a prompt 10mins into them turning up.

In any restaurant I love vibrancy and an atmosphere but, if I can't hear the person opposite me and if multiple people are standing right on top of you screaming (no exaggeration) during the meal then staff should step in but sadly didn't until it was too late and prompted.... Food amazing, dining experience ruined! 1 Star.

User

Nice experiment, there was four of us, we took two different menus, and wow, lots of food to eat, different flavours, starters were the best, but main wasn't bad either. We were so full, and we couldn't finish deserts. Would go again.

User

The food was ok, nothing grounbreaking. I probably need to try something else next time (if there is a next time). Downer was the service. Although the person who looked after me initially was pleasant and efficient, she got replaced by some sarcastic, full of attitude queen who sadly left me with a rather unpleasant experience after-taste. Shame because I had been looking forward to going there.

User

Love going to jinjuu, took my partner there for her Birthday last November, she loved the food and evening,we both did, so I said I would love to go for valentines/Birthday for lunch,we ordered Korean fried chicken, prawn lollipops, beef sliders and fries, to be honest we found the two pieces of small chicken over cooked and minimal, the beef sliders were expensive and disappointing.

We travelled from West Sussex to enjoy what should have been a very tasty lunch :-(

User

This was my 2nd time dining here in 10 months. We came here in August and loved the service and food, our waiter was fantastic the first time. This time on April 8 not so good. The waiter was not as attentive and did not offer suggestions and recommendations like the previous one. All our food was good except for the "steamed sea bass." I'm from the states and I know what sea bass should be - it's usually either black sea bass or Chilean sea bass. This fish was neither, it was trout! I asked the waiter what it was and he said seabass, because I said I don't think it is. He then said he will ask the chef when he took my payment and let me know. He returned with my receipt and did not mention anything about the fish.

Was a little disappointed this time with the overall experience as we were looking forward to eating here again. This will probably be the last time if we visit London again.

User

I've been to Jinjuu Soho before and usually order the Korean fried chicken and beef taco at least. They have both been very nice and the service has been great. However, this time, there was a bone inside one of the taco. If you had the taco before you'll know that the taco is already relatively small. The bone was roughly the size of a coke bottlecap. when we spoke to the waiter about it, while he did apologise, he insisted that these things will happen and asked us 'so what do you want?' as if we are being unreasonable. Very disappointed with the service for a relatively high end restaurant in Soho.

User

Disappointed to be writing this review as in reality my partner and I really enjoyed our visit and the food was delicious. We ordered the Jinjuu prime set menu and it was only upon showing a friend the menu that we realised that they hadn’t served us one of the courses! Really very disappointed as we would have obviously liked to try it and had paid for it. Any comments welcome Jinjuu!
