Day 18 of Advent - we thought we could go cuteness overload today! Best gift we could ask for, a beautiful Bengal Eagle Owl, three weeks old and very curious, rather cheeky too! We are looking for names, Holly seems to be a favourite amongst our children, do you have any ideas? 7 more sleeps!!

Catching up from the weekend, Advent Day 15 & 16! We are looking back to the Fantastic South of England Agricultural Society Summer Show. We had Axe Throwing at one end and our Falconry show going on in another arena. Was a fantastic few days, we really recommend anyone to go along to the show.

Day 14 of Advent! Look at the smiles on the kids faces, Joe too, at Shorne Woods Country Park for our holiday workshops, we have been offering these experiences for the young people since 2014 and we have had hundreds upon hundreds of children come and visit us since! With more venues and back at Shorne in planning for 2019 - how about your young person come along and learn some new skills with us!

Day 13 of Advent.....Easter at Brogdale Collections - Charity we had daily displays with our birds, here in Rufus hovering over Joe, such a great image capturing the partnership between his bird and Falconer. We are one of the few falconry centres whom has a Long Legged Buzzard, he has a great personality, but those long legs can catch you out!

Day twelve of Advent! This image comes from a Valentine's Wedding of Sharon and Richard at Hempstead House Hotel and Spa our Hatter offering his Owl Ring Bearing Services. Anyone whom has met Hatter will know.....he is the Mad Hatter! Very sociable and wants to meet everyone! Even stopped half way down the aisle at a wedding last year to chat to a guest, like I say, Mad Hatter but loved by all who meet him. Congrats Richard and Sharon, it was a pleasure to join you on your special day!

Day 7! Our flag is flying high at Willow Farm Equestrian Faversham our location for Target Experiences, many of you know this is our meeting point for guests. The farm has undergone huge changes with Kel and Rosie, we are so excited for the future of the farm! Great location :)

Advent Day Six - looking to the end of Feb when the snow blocked us all in. After a few days, our birds needed their exercise and we had the fabulous Steven Saxbee join us to capture some images of the birds just as the snow was melting. Here is Eddie, our European Eagle Owl, the snow did not phase him at all. Eddie has a hilarious reputation of sitting in his favourite tree and not moving the moment someone gets their camera out. Such a rare sight to get a picture of him out of his "tree" such a character, he is quite the joker!

Thank you to Selling Church of England Primary School yesterday and Boughton-under-Blean and Dunkirk Primary School today for welcoming us into their beautiful schools! Here is Hunter looking at their beautiful tree this morning, it has been a pleasure to meet you all. Hope you enjoyed Joe's displays!

Advent picture number four! Our year also started with the happy news this little lady had been born too! Hooded Vultures are classed as critically endangered, so we are taking very good care of our Saffie, she is flying well and if you are lucky to meet her, she will chat to you for a very long time 😍

We thought throughout the Advent we would share images with you of 2018. We are slightly behind, so here are three images that kick started our year - Joe's 30th Birthday! A visit to Elmley Nature Reserve in the shepherds huts, fantastic place to see nature and his fab cake made by The Whitstable Cake Company!!
