Went there today for the Easter egg hunt with friends and our kids shame many people didn't turn out for it as it was excellent looking forward to other things you do later in year thank you for a brilliant time ���

We had my nans surprise 90th birthday party here today. Ed made the party go without a hitch. He went above and beyond when decorating the conservatory to make it look lovely for her!! The staff were all really friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

The buffet food was delicious with a good selection of hot and cold dishes and there was plenty of it too.

A good time was had by all and I would not hesitate to have another family occasion here!! Big � to Ed and all the staff.... Thank you all so much x

We arrived late morning, they opened the kitchen straight away. Nothing was too much trouble at all. Fantastic service. Food was cooked to perfection. The chips were lovely and crisp. All of the food was freshly made. Military card was a bonus too. Will definitely be returning. The lady behind the bar with dark hair was excellent. Thank you.

Visited for 1st time today with family. Had a lovely meal. Highly recommend the chicken and wild mushroom pie. Delicious! Staff were so helpful and friendly too, happy to serve us all with lovely smiles and professional service. We will definitely be back for more. Thankyou x

Traveling From King’s Lynn to Lincoln we stopped at the jolly Scotsman. My partner and I both had a bacon burger and we honestly have to say it is the best burger we have ever had! F&B, Arbuckles and GBK don’t even come close. Very friendly staff. They even apologised several times for The wait but we didn’t find the wait particularly long. If only we lived closer we would be regular customers. Keep up the good work guys. �

The meal was divine! When me and my husband and our two children walked into this pub everybody just turned and smiled. We was welcomed by staff, we ordered our food and it was fabulous!!! You got a big portion on your plate it was presented nicely. Our children's meals were served quite high which was a big bonus too... my husband is a ale drinker and was very happy with the choice provided. Would recommend this place to anybody.

Service was great, wait times very good and prices were very good. Only issue was with one of the desserts which was kindly refunded. All in all 10 meals out of 11 were perfect but the 11th was dealt with professionally. I would recommend to others. Thankyou �

We've always found staff very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The food is always good. We called in last night on the off chance that there was a table for 2 and we was told there was a couple of tables available. We were warned that it could be upto 30min wait as it was really busy. The food was served within 15mins of ordering and cooked to perfection. I do agree there is a bit of a funny smell when you walk in.

This is one of my regular visits to the Jolly Scotchman and the service/food was to its normal excellent standard.



I visit once or twice a week and always leave calmer and happier than when I went in.



The landlord and landlady were helpful and pleasant to my kids.



The staff were pleasant, efficient and ensured that that we were looked after without being to pushy as in many places.



The food was to a normal pub grub standard with a large portion size.



Very very good Sunday meal overall

This will not be the last visit to this pub for a drink or meal.

Really lovely food, but a long wait. Ordered starter & main and waited 40 mins on a Wednesday evening for the starter to arrive. Asked waitress how long food would be and starters quickly arrived after that. Staff very apologetic and gave us a free drink so all good in the end.

It was a lovely little place. We often forget about this place but we made it our priority for food. We ordered the mixed grill and a rump steak. It all come out rather promptly. Well presented and all tasted good. Really can't fault the place at all.



The staff were lovely and attentive and the new guy on the till taking our order was very apologetic over being a little slow on the till, something I really didn't mind in the slightest.



The only reason I marked it down one star is because there were a load of kids sat the screaming and shouting which put a little downer on the evening. But, something to be expected in a family pub.

I had the mixed grill but was not happy the steak was chewy the gammon was fatty and the chicken breast was dry I took It home for my dogs they enjoyed it I would go again but don't think I would have mixed grill again

Something in the food that shouldn't be, and ordered a kids meal to find out because they had no Capri-son in stock and I asked for squash instead the kids weren't entitled to a pudding? Nothing beats telling 6year olds their puddings not actually coming!?!?! A heads up when ordering would be helpful!!

Pretty disappointed to be honest. Ordered a roast pork dinner and what I got was im sure a boil in the bag piece of manky pork that was dry. There was also NO Apple sauce!! On the plus side the veg were ok and everything was hot. The waitresses were all very pleasant and helpful but I will not be returning to have a roast especially at it cost over £10!!!

I went yesterday. Dead flies on window ledge next to my table. Order was missing items. Food was under a heat light which made the bread hard. Order a drink from a young lad behind the bar with no please or thankyou. The place has changed from all those years ago. Such a shame.

I have been to this pub a handful of times and nearly every time the food I have chosen has been unavailable!!

Once the rump steak melt, next time no white bread and today there was no flat bread making the chicken flat bread meal unavailable and also the antipasto starter was unavailable due to not having all the items. My family and I went for a Sunday dinner and that was awful, hard vegetables and burnt Yorkshire puddings. Even though the pub is very local to me I will be very reluctant to visit again for food!
