Something for you to try at home!!

It's been a bit quiet on the Market front for the last few months; Joumana's wrist has been playing up again so it's painful doing the cutting, particularly the Tabouleh. The good news is that she is scheduled for an operation in August to fix it once and for all. However we have been working on our private parties and teaching. We were delighted to cater for Andrew Roberts "big" birthday" for around 50 people with a BBQ and lots of others treats including Pavlova. Thanks t...o Serina and Natasha for their help: couldn't have done it without you! Yesterday we hosted a teaching day and had a great time with our largest group to date. More of a team effort this time, with Chris chipping in with a demonstration preparing Toom (Garlic sauce) and manning the BBQ for marinated chicken. See attached for the full menu! Many thanks to Pat, Deborah, Russell, Glynis and Zeina and We do have some fresh Lebanese Sausages available if anyone would like to order, they will be in the freezer from Monday.

Been a bit busy in the Kitchen, so no posts recently, so a quick update.
We have had a teaching day with our new friends Stephanie and Judy. We also launched out and had our first market in Tunbridge Wells. Sadly we had a fair amount of rain first thing but as the clouds past by, the people came and we went home having sold everything. We also introduced some new products including the Chilli meat "Pizza" and Chris's famous garlic sauce: not for the faint of heart.
In addit...ion we have invested in a corporate BBQ which will be put to good use at the upcoming Birthday party we are catering in June. Taking a few runs to get used to it, but nobody is complaining.
We are planning more lessons in June and July and were invited to attend a Foodie Fest in Heathfield on the 12th July - apparently our fame is spreading!

BIG NEWS: Joumana's Kitchen will be starting up at the Tunbridge Wells Farmers Market: the one outside of the Town Hall. Our first one will be on the 26th April. Looking forward to bringing real Lebanese food to The Wells

Fantastic day on Sunday at Tonbridge Farmers Market the sun was out and we hardly took anything home with us! Chris was particularly happy to sell all his new garlic paste (Toom) in about two hours. People really love garlic!! Thanks to all our lovely customer's for support us and saying such nice things about Joumana's food. Makes the 3am start feel very worthwhile

Yes we are back!!

Joumana's Kitchen will be back at Tonbridge Farmers Market on Sunday 9th. Joumana had to have an operation on her hand but is much better now. Stand by for our GARLIC SPECTACULAR: more soon!!
