Jr Mountaineering

***BLOG UPDATE***
In October this year we are taking a group of 15 people to Everest Base Camp in Nepal. Have a read of this blog to find out more about what to expect and why we do, what we do. There are some spaces left and we need to fill them all to help support the community project.

totally amazing guy, he has helped me achieve 2 things on my bucket list, summitting Mount Snowdon and Ben Nevis.....forever grateful and cannot wait for more adventures in the future.

We met JR while fundraising for a friends son back in 2012..

JR with his encouragement lured us up Mount Snowdon.. Giving each of us had the necessary encouragement we needed to reach the summit.. I can tell you as a 47 plus size female it was no mean feat.. For without JRs amazing knowledge of the

Mountains and each of our different personalities and abilities I for one would never even have attempted to climb Mount Snowden let alone summit it.. We got the mountain bug..

So greedy for punishment we also enlisted JRs skills again to help us attempt Ben Nevis.. After the first hour I was ready to quit.. Feeling totally disappointed with myself I was ready to throw the towel in.. JR is a wise (not so old man) could see I'm sure that this old gal still had something left inside of her if only she had a helping hand.. JR whipped (forever the magician) a pair of walking sticks from behind his back and said here try these.. And you know what as if by magic the first couple of steps I took with those magical sticks I KNEW I was gonna summit Ben Nevis.. And I did.. We ALL did..me being the last to summit and half an hour behind the rest of the group.. JR constantly went back and forth between the group giving us the necessary guidance he felt was necessary .. JR had the knowledge.. The wisdom .. And the faith in all of us.. Without JR I would never have experienced 2 of the most amazing experiences of my life..shared with my son and friends and family... We are now arranging to climb Kilimanjaro in Oct16...

So I say to each and everyone one of you that are dithering.. DO IT.. but don't just do it.. JR MOUNTAINEERING experience IT..

You won't regret it and as a bonus you'll make an awesome friend in JR.. Jason Thankyou from the bottom of mine and James' hearts .. It's been an absolute privilege to know you and experience your expertise xxx
