Welcome to JST Tutoring!
I provide Maths one to one and group tuition from the ages 10 +
I specialize in GCSE Maths but also tutor up to a degree level.
I have a degree in Actuarial maths and statistics and also a degree in Teaching.

My name is Jennifer Truong, I have a degree in Actuarial Maths and Statistics Level 6 and also a Degree in Education & Training Level 5.

From a young age, I have always been talented with maths and this has driven me to find new methods to gain the solutions faster and easier for learners. My teaching techniques are tailored to every pupil and class to how they learn individually or as a group. We all learn at different paces and progress at different speeds.

In a school it is challenging for a child to succeed in every subject /topic without that extra revision or help. From a parents’ point of view, it can sometimes be difficult to find that spare time to help their children with homework.

My studies led me towards a job in the financial sector in London; which everyone perceives to be a dream, wealthy paid job. Soon after, I realised that this job wasn’t for me. Teaching was always an area I wanted to go into, as I work well with a wide range of people and I am great with understanding their needs.

From past experiences working within a school, I observed on numerous accounts that one teaching method does not work well for each individual whilst learning as a large group. I became more passionate about wanting each and every student to progress and achieve their full potential at their own pace.

I began to guide my younger cousins through GCSE exam prep and they both did exceptionally well. This motivated me to become a better teacher, gain more experience in the teaching industry and to also help other learners succeed. From this point onwards, I decided to set up JST Tutoring. I gained my experience over the past 4 years from working in various schools, one to one tuition and group work. I then went on to completing a degree in Teaching.


JST Tutoring has developed rapidly and is still continuously growing. My goal is to help people overcome their struggles with maths and hopefully find the love that I have for it!
