We had a really amazing Christmas turkey roast yesterday, well cooked, well presented and great value for money. Highly recommend to everyone. The staff are all very nice. The Christmas pudding was superb.

Thought we'd try the Jubilee for Breakfast after reading good reviews and so glad we did. Service was great, quick and with a smile. Food was great, cooked fresh and served hot. Couldn't believe the portion sizes, they were huge and I was gutted that I had to leave so much. I'd definitely recommend a visit.

This was a traditional truckers cafe. It's now open to the public and not the truckers. The food is cooked fresh, hot and plenty of it. Very good value for money, the staff are friendly too. If I had anything to moan about I would say it needs to be a little warmer in the restaurant as it's a little cool when sitting still and I prefer not to sit in my coat to keep warm �

This place is a hidden gem! Great food and lovely staff.

The only reason I travel 1200 miles to go home for is the grub here !! ;)

Popped in yesterday and got a real suprise, great breakfast steaming hot with some great big fat bangers. Throughly enjoyed it.

I've been coming here for 20+ years and it always has been and always will be the best breakfast in Colchester, and probably Essex...

I had lunch here today with friends and family and all six of us enjoyed delicious meals, cooked to perfection and served by friendly staff. Lots to choose from and all very reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

Food excellent and staff 1st class. Had lunch there today unfortunately power cut but still enjoyed a lovely salad. Felt so sorry for staff so stressful for them but they coped so well.

Excellent food and great friendly staff. My friend and I go there for Sunday lunch quite often.

Been meaning to come here for quite a while now, but never got around to it, but today we did it, and it was worth the wait, everyone is happy (staff and customers), food is very good. We had a breakfast each, and it was very good, next time we will sample from the extensive specials board. And there will defiantly be a next time, and soon.

Prices were pretty good, not the cheapest and nowhere near the most expensive. £7 for the Breakfast Special, and all quality stuff.

Recommend this place, worth the trip to the middle of nowhere, an opinion obviously shared by a lot of people, as it was quite busy.

The only thing less than perfect were the horrible plastic bags of sauce, which I hate.

Been coming here years and years, this place never fails to put out fresh clean and great food, if your in the area it's a must to stop off and try.
