Our legendary Parker House Rolls are baked daily in JW Steakhouse and originated n the Parker House Hotel in Boston in the 1870’s - accredited to Chef Fannie Farmer the story goes that an angry pastry cook threw the bread rolls into the oven which resulted in their uneven appearance! Yesterday was the second time we visited Grosvenor House for afternoon tea. Once to take the grand daughters and yesterday to celebrate a special friends 75th birthday. We were served by Mercedes on both occasions. She was very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was amazing and food scrumptious. We will definitely be going again.

We arrived on saturday morning and we were checked in immediately the staff is courteous and welcoming. Many thanks go to Muhamad at the concierge desk who helped me with calling my bank in American after the ATM at the hotel swallowed my Debit Card. He was very patient and assured me he will help me get the issue resolved. Muhammad helped me to call my bank in America and we managed to have the card cancelled and money wired to my other account. The Park Room is another place you may want to visit. The food is great and so is the staff. We were helped by Altray. He is amazing and gave us an awesome customer experience. He Recommended cocktails, which were just the right choice. Kudos to Muhamad and Altray for the excellent customer experience.

This hotel was amazing at there afternoon tea, we came because it was my 30th birthday...there chef made vegetarian and gluten free sandwiches and cakes for my mum... worth the price. Would defo go again

The Grosvenor House is top of the line. The executive suite is beautifully appointed and spacious. The extra touches of a JW abound in this property to add to the feeling of luxury. The staff are unfailingly polite and helpful. The Club Lounge is superior. I’ve enjoyed stays at several other very nice Marriott properties in London (Grosvenor Square, Park Lane, County Hall) and this has outdone them all.

Service in the tea room was excellent! The selection of the Royal Wedding Afternoon Tea was superb! The staff went above and beyond to make the experience fantastic, always smiling and helpful.

Just returned from a Saturday night stay at the GHH Park Lane. We had two rooms booked with check in at 3pm. We arrived early and just wanted to drop off our bags to free us up for a bit of sightseeing. One of our rooms was available so we dropped our bags off and headed out, it was my partner’s 50th birthday and this was mentioned in passing at reception. When we returned later there was a bottle of wine, snacks and a delicious cheesecake awaiting us. Plus the second room felt like an upgrade. Many thanks to the staff for making our special weekend even more special.

I loved staying here! The room, the service, the FOOD! All perfect! Get the famous JW cheesecake, the English breakfast, and have high tea in the Park Room. You will not be disappointed.

Had such an amazing experience staying with you guys. The concierge lounge is top notch. I'm staying across the way at The County Hall tonight which is equally as nice but they don't have the amenities like Grosvenor.

Excellent...staff, accommodations, location and food. Jack, Mint, Agripina and Guido as well as their collegues in The Steakhouse really try to ensure you enjoy your stay. We will return!

Check in was prompt and friendly. Room very nice and exceeded our expectations. Room and Hotel Common areas all very clean. Great location. Ate in the Steakhouse on 3 evenings, very good each time with friendly wait staff. Will definitely return.

Arrived Wednesday noon and the room wasn't quite ready, but we were early so they took us to the Concierge Lounge while our room was being prepared. The lounge was very comfortable with great choices of food and beverage. Our room was completed so we went upstairs to see we had been upgraded to a suite that surpassed our expectations. The staff is friendly and helpful, always smiling. This hotel has only added to our wonderful vacation in London.

Excellent location opposite Hyde Park , very polite pleasant and hospitable staff , the room we stayed in had recently been refurbished so was clean and for London a decent size .

We had reservations for at least 3 months, 1 room two beds. We had been waiting almost 6 hrs for our room. They called us finally to say our room is ready. They told us it was just remodeled and we are the first ones in the room. When they called, we asked if they would finally get our luggage up to the room, they said they would. When we went up to the room, we find out it’s a not so new room, also it had a king size bed. We called the front desk and they said that’s all they have for us. They don’t really care about the guests at all. They also said they only have a few rooms with double beds. What a waste of money coming to this place. They wouldn’t do anything about their mistake.

This is about the worst Marriott property that I have stayed in. I managed to get locked in my room, the chap who came to unlock the door tells me that I haven’t lived if I’ve not been locked into my own room and half my breakfast didn’t turn up. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Shame. Checked in after a tiring travel day. Dirty pillowcases on the bed, dirty cotton bud on the floor of the bathroom. Service lady came to replace pillowcases. One of the pillowcases was also dirty. To be replaced as well. This hotel has a big problem with hygiene and not enough motivation to fix the problem. #neveragain #dirtyjwmarriott #notinLondon

Last stayed here about 8 years ago, other than new paint and carpets not much has changed.

Likes location and the friendliest bell hop on the valet park.



Dislikes horrible cell block H room, no daylight, noisy a/c and a ridiculously tiny bathroom. Worst was the lack of service in the steakhouse. We waited 30’ for cocktails that never came and the matre d’ had the cheek to tell that they were too busy, the room was no more than 20% full.



I do hope it’s the last time we have to stay at this place.



Major dislike, being invited the day before check in to upgrade; selected the most expensive upgrade, only to be told on arrival that the hotel was now sold out. What a waste of time and so disappointing. Don’t get why Mr Marriott plays such tricks.

Overall does endorse why Marriott is off my shopping list, I was once a platinum member, now just a civilian with choice to stay where my custom is appreciated.
