Our time at Kensington Arcade is coming to an end this week. We had a great time here and want to thank all our guests and partners.
We are looking for alternative locations at the moment. Of course our Bäckerei Café in Tottenham Court Road would be delighted to welcome you in the meantime.

Make use of the last few days we bake our special KAMPS Malt Multiseed Bread for you. Get one now: a wheat-rye bread with rye wholemeal groats, oat flakes, wheat roasted malt flour, millet, caraway, linseeds, sesame & sunflower seeds.

What a discovery! Your sunflower seed is the best bread ever. I challenge anyone who buys it to get it home without eating a slice or two on the way! The top of Tottenham Court Road has become a "must go" destination for bread. Thank you Kamps you have brought a new dimension of taste to my life.

The best bread in london! if i had to choose a favourite it would be the pumpkin seeds one (which they've stopped doing :-( ) and the pastries are just amazing! All of them!

Thanks to Kamps, had the pleasure to revisit the joy of German baking I enjoyed so much as a student at Cadera, Wolfsburg. Also, the slightly sweet fresh coffee blend was delicious. Enjoyed my breakfast so much, returned and bought cakes to savour later at home in north Wales.

Oscar Wilde was writing "I can resist anything but temptation". Every time you come in, you want to try something new, even if you have your best item!

Oh yeah!!! Like it very much.

Kamps used to be my favourite chain bakery back in Germany and so I was very pleased - and surprised - when I found the announcement for the opening of the new ship in TCR just by accident.

I've been here two times now, the overall experience is very much like in their shops in Berlin and elsewhere but with an updated and modern design. Opening the shop door last Sunday in the morning almost took my breath, so lovely and genuine were the smells! The display shelves full of cake and bread rolls, opposite the counter a baker was freshly preparing an apple cake.

Today I came back at 4pm in the afternoon, best tee/coffee time! But there wasn't any dark bread left and only two identical fruit plunders, which was a bit disappointing but of course they try to minimise waste.

Anyway, if you like rally good bread and homemade-style Kamps should definitely be your first point of call! So much better than bäkehaus in Hammersmith.

Amazing bakery really great quality at a reasonable price!

A great place to be.freshly baked food,the breads are delicious,my favourite is the sunflower loaf.very hygienic,nothing passes those counters without gloves or tongs..lovely work colleagues.I 'always' stay in at lunch time! :-)

Brought triangle roll this morning plus three of huge German Gingerbread, don't know if you would call it cake or biscuit. Anyway cut into quarters they went down very well at work. More nutty than ginger with delicious dark choc covering. Yummy.

A beautiful looking generously portioned chicken and avocado sandwich ruined by a thick slather of margarine. Yuck!! For £4.25 I'd expect butter, at least.

Pastries are lovely, unfortunately the service has become rude and very slow of late..
