Visiting my son in Glasgow with our two dogs, we decided to go for a walk. It was a real treat to walk along Kelvingrove and into the park. Great care must have been taken when tell park was laid out, as every corner turned opened up new vista's and surprises. Our children are grown, but I was impressed by the size and scope of the playground, and how well used it was yesterday.

This is a fantastic park in the heart of Glasgow yesterday 3rd of June saw the March for independence start here and it had a turnout of around 25,000 people. The river Kelvin runs through it and it's a pleasant feeling watching nature at its best well worth a visit.

Me , my wife and my seven years old son go often to this park as we love it , it also brings back lots of great memories to me as I used to go to this park when I was young

Loved the beauty and scale of the park. Something for everyone. Visited the brand new cafe Chaiwallah, right outside the park on Gibson street and enjoyed delicious soup and banana loaf

Love this park although disappointing the cafe shuts at 5pm in summer on a beautiful day when there are lots of people still looking for food, drinks and ice cream. Lost business opportunity! Not good enough

I loved the park. You can just stretch out your time and spend it on the scenic beautiful Park for ages. Dwell in its calm atmosphere to create more nostalgic memories. It did it again for me.

After years of visiting the Museum in the car took the tour bus yesterday and discovered the marvel of the park. Nicely laid out and loads for two hyper boys to be kept busy x Will definitely visit more x

A simply wonderful experience.

Most of my time was spent at the Bandstand for a gig but on the way there I met a lovely group of vegans from the local University.

Im not sure where they originate from as they had a strange twang.

I only know they were vegans as they introduce themselves as I'm "insert name", Im vegan.

Thankfully they were pro-choice vegans so they didnt mind that I'd just had a Haggis Supper from the chippy across the road.

A peaceful, relaxing place to enjoy walking, biking, riding or simply to delight in the beauty of the views... just steps away from the famous Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum

Wonderful park. There for the Women's 10k event which was really well managed. Thanks to all the organisers. So nice to see so many people enjoying the park. Was there again last night for open air cinema event at the band stand was so nice sitting outside and park looked beautiful with all the fairy lights . Great place for intimate concerts.

Was doing great until the torrential rain started

But everyone took shelter under the bar. And heard some great Glasgow banter.

This is a lovely park, and I love coming here when visiting my family. However, I feel that there are far to many dogs aloud to be off their Leads. I had been attacked by a dog in this park a few years back, but thankfully not bad. Loads of people enjoy coming here, and I will return. I think that it's fine for people to be walking their dogs, but it should be park rule they are kept on leads. Thank you

In the summer time it's lovely to walk through however when it's wet the grass turns muddy and there's no where for shelter unless it's under a tree

I thought I was in Central Park New York!

What a lovely place. I can see why people

Love the west end.

Beautiful sunny weekend which brought out the BBQ's.

Most people cleared up after themselves.

However, bins where inadequate.

Glasgow Council- litter conscious folk would like bigger bins.

I did see some lorry with a crane lifting what looked like a buried large capacity bin which was also overflowing. More of these would help.

All in all. A lovely place. Make sure you go to the coffee shop at finniston end. Nice to see flower beds nicely maintained. Shame the fountain isn't working. Was reconditioned in 1988 and looks like it needs it again! Shame.

some politician couldnt try and put a refurb through expenses!

I love the park & take the dog there most days. It's great to see the space being used for so many different purposes & everyone is generally very friendly. Love the cafes on the edges of the park, especially Chaiwallah but agree that on nice evenings it would be great to have them open a bit later.

It would be great to see the fountain restored to its former glory & someone looking after the litter situation. This would make such a difference. The one & only thing that really annoys me is the cyclists whizzing through the park. I've had a few near misses as cyclists have brushed past me at speed. We should all be able to use and enjoy the space -it's not a velodrome.

Always good place to be on a sunny day. Plenty of space. Lots of places to visit and plenty of paths to walk or run. Following the paths can take you on the Kelvin Walkway which is brilliant for longer walks and cycles.

BBQ benches are great but you need to get in early!!

Only down side is the litter. Even in less busy days there's loads of it. Bins are overflowing. Duck pond has so much litter in it as does the Banks and bed of the River Kelvin.

Stewarding was awful. Confiscated a plastic bottle of water despite the ticket clearly stating 'no GLASS bottles' . I explained I needed it to take my medication but they were determined to have my water.Despte speaking to a supervisor there was no way they were letting me have my water. So fixated on the water in fact that they didn't look inside my rucksack or my wife's handbag, or her friends handbag. If the bottle of water had been in my pocket they wouldn't have seen it. Very unprofessional stewarding. they also didnt ask to see our tickets, so 4 of us walked in , bags unchecked, without showing tickets. But by god, they got their bottle of water off of a pensioner who needed it to take his medication during concert. Band were excellent, but the stewarding was, unprofessional, petty and lax.
