Kempton Steam Museum Description

Kempton is home to one of the world's largest working triple expansion steam engines, one of two commissioned in 1929 to pump water 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to North & East London. The engines are housed in a magnificent Grade II listed Scheduled Monument and are open to the public on some Tuesdays and Thursdays. See dates for steaming weekends.
