Kent Custom Dipping Description

Hydrographic Dipping Service in Kent. Show me what you want doing and I'll see what I can do. Anything that is non porous can be dipped, so metal, wood, plastic, glass etc. Most items must be disassembled and clean prior to me dipping. The process involves painting a primer coat, then colour coat, then dipping in water to add the film pattern followed by a layer or two of laquer.

Please message us with photos of your parts, along with the colour and pattern you require for an estimate.
Items can be posted to us and posted back to you once your item has been customised. Postage is not included in the price

Although most modern scopes are water tight, the seals on older scopes may have perished slightly, so we accept no responsibility for damage or misting to scopes after dipping

Cadillac engine cover in Silver True Weave carbon, blue stripe and logos. Should tie in nicely with the blue rocker covers Kent Custom Powder did for the customer 🙂

Burlwood1 on the flaps.and surrounds, Burlwood2 on the light unit. If you look at the centre of the light unit you can see the original plastic which have been masked off by the customers request. Every part has been sand blasted, high build primed, flatted smooth, base colour applied, dipped in a wood pattern, 2k clear coated then flatted and polished. We do this with all Poly plastics (PP, PE etc).

Something a little different, a Milk Jug in Anonymous pattern! And it's powder coated instead of painted so it's got an even more durable finish!

This Triumph has had the full works and finished just in time for Christmas! The tank originally had bolt on logos, so they were removed and the holes filled and smoothed. A lot of this bike had filler work and everything had high build primer to smooth any last imperfections out. The black is a custom made Metallic black for just the right amount of sparkle. The red is Suzuki Crystal Red, which again is a sparkly metallic. The silver is a course metallic too! The scale detai...ling and shading was airbrushed, and the lines were individually applied and created during each stage of colours. Every part has been clear coated, flatted and a second load of clear coat applied. The wheels and the headlight have been colour matched to the rest of the parts and Powder Coated for extra strength and durability. There will be no issues with tyre changes on this bike! We are now Closed for Christmas and re-open on 2nd Jan 2019. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
