We had lamb chops, ribs, and mixed kebab/grill - the food was generous and well cooked - have been many times and will be sure to go again! Service was good too! This is not a quiet restaurant as it is always filled with the noise of laughter and people enjoying themselves - a very nice place to be! 😍😋

We celebrated my husband's birthday last night at Kervan Sofrasi Restaurant in Southgate.

This is a very buzzy and busy Turkish restaurant over 2 floors!

Every table taken and people queuing to get in is always a good sign!

I have to say we were so impressed with the food!

Best Turkish i have eatern and portion size is value for money.

We will definitely be returning!!

I’ve lived all over London and this is by far the best Turkish here. The lamb is unbelievably good. Go for the special if 2 or more of you are feeling brave but you’ll be taking some home. The turish bread, salad and humous comes as standard free starter and is epically good. Enjoy

Born & Bred in north london remember this place as the waggon & horses pub, came here with very good friends last sunday for lunch, had the mixed platter. Fab delicious clean & being on a Sunday busy alive & kicking thoroughly enjoyed well worth it.

Went to the one in Edmonton Green and as usual service was excellent and the food fresh and tasty. Perfect for dinner parties especially if you're on a budget. Highly recommended.

Visited the Southgate restaurant for my sons 22nd birthday last week, my oldest son has been here a few times and raves about it so we travelled for 40 min in the rush hour to go there. Really lovely large place, nice decor, clean and lots of attentive staff. We had the bread and dips first and the humous was gorgeous then the extra special platter.....wow for £47 it fed 4 adults and 2 kids with leftovers and the lamb was amazing....really tasty. Everything was fresh hot and quickly served, will defiantly revisit. We ate around 6.30 and the place filled up very quickly, they must have around 150 covers. Great meal.

My partner and I ordered the kervan special on the offer on your website with the free meze that came with it! It honestly fed 4 of us then my Dad went back for seconds later. My only criticism is that I won't understand why there were random pieces of sweet corn in the rice ? There never was when we ate in your restaurant but anywho, always great service and great value for money

Have been to this restaurant a couple of times and love the place. Good food and excellent service. Always worth a visit - yes , it does get busy at times, but they seem to cope well.

Food & service was good at the Southgate restaurant. However, due to the size of the place and the amount of people it holds when full, which it was last Sunday, the restaurant was total chaos & mayhem!!! Kids running around the tables & shouting & screaming, the side door constantly opening as it's gives access to the smoking area. We watched non customers just walking in to use the toilets. Waiters so busy that nothing was said to the parents of the annoying children. Generally an unpleasant experience all round. Would return but would choose our night more carefully & definitely chose to sit somewhere else.

Went there to celebrate my daughters 16th birthday last night we was placed in the top table near the toilets it also had access to the outside the door was opened so it was really cold it was crowded there was not enough space to get through. Tables really close together. The service was really bad. The food came it was cold asked for drinks took forever to come the waiters were rude one even told us that they can't speak English so walked away. We didn't know who are waiter was. I asked for my daughters birthday cake so many times one waiter saying it is coming eventually I had to go up to the desk and ask to have the cake. The guy on till asked for a tip because of the receipt there was no service charge added so I told him I wasn't going to give it because the service was bad and still had no response. Over all this kervan on Church street has gone downhill and I will not be eating there again.
