FOWEY REGATTA WEEK
All of this week is the superb Fowey Regatta and Carnival week.
There is something for everyone to enjoy from boats to floats, rafts to Royalty.
... Wednesday is Carnival day, which sets off from Squires Field at 7:15pm and continues through town. Throughout Carnival week traders also dress up their shops and cafes and dress up according to a theme.
There is also a giant pasty ceremony, in which the iconic pasty arrives by boat from Polruan.
We recommend heading down for the big finale on Saturday 25th, with a fantastic firework display over the water at the end.

It sure looks as if Ruth Taylor from RT Equestrian Services had a super time away competing at The National Pony Society Summer Championships! Love the matching Highland ponies! Congratulations!! Ruth was kitted out to represent us at these championships and we are very proud of her and Ruairi.

This little guy was found by some of our lovely guests this afternoon. He is going for a trip to the vets to make sure he is ok, the children have named him Jeff - so everyone meet Jeff!!

have just got home from a fabulous 4 days at Kilminorth. loved it!

When we first visited kilminorth cottages we fell in love with the whole place as soon as we walked around and we knew it the most perfect place for our wedding! Two and half years of planning with Jayne and the team and we had the most perfect weekend with our friends and family. They are an amazing team and they couldn’t have worked any harder to make it more perfect for us and a whole weekend to remember �

What can I say about this place other than I think It May we’ll be our favourite place on earth. From the moment we were greeted by Jayne 2 years ago with a huge smile on her face to the moment we left yesterday. Jayne and her team of wonderful people have gone above and beyond to make sure we had the most perfect wedding weekend, more than we ever could have imagined! Every single recommendation has been spot on and nothing has seemed too much trouble! My only wish is that I could stay in my little kilminorth bubble forever! Very sad to hear the below reviews and although I’m sure this was stressful for everyone involved I urge you all to please give this place a chance you don’t no what your missing. Alternatively don’t and it can stay Our hidden treasure. Much love Jayne and co xxxxx

What a fantastic place to stay! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming the grounds were beautiful and facilities amazing! Cottage with a hot tub is certainly worth it - I don't have enough words to express the enjoyment and love I have for this amazing place, we are already planning another visit with my family! What a fantastic find!! We stayed in Above Town (although originally booked Bridle) last week having never been to Cornwall before. I dont think 5 stars is enough for this place, we had an amazing stay at Kilminorth Cottages. The private garden was great with a built in BBQ, seating and the all important hot tub!! The outdoor pool is fantastic, even in September and the Tennis Court was good fun! The cottage had everything we needed, and offered plenty of space for us all (4 adults), having the food shop delivered & put in our cottage for us was brilliant, saved us alot of time & hassle. Nothing was too much trouble & the whole place was very relaxed. The only minor problem we encountered was getting over the cattle grid - my partner has a very low car, so had to reverse in! � As they say theres always one!! Will definitely recommend to family and friends, and hopefully we'll be back soon!! �

We've just returned from a fantastic 3 night stay in Bridle cottage. The cottage was very clean and spacious. We stayed with 3 young and boisterous kids and there was ample room for the 5 of us. Great facilities inside and out, the hot tub was our favourite part of the stay. It was lovely and warm and a perfect way to end the day, even in the cold and wet January weather. The staff were all lovely, Jane especially was very welcoming and approachable. Having the shopping delivered before our arrival and put into our cottage for us was a great help and saved a lot of time and effort. I'm not normally a repeat visitor to places once I've been, but would definitely consider coming back here. Thanks for a great weekend!

We had an amazing first family holiday here last month. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location for walks and dog and baby friendly. Hot tubs are amazing! Would highly recommend

Kilminorth was a perfect location for my daughters wedding, beautiful cottages in a stunning setting with great facilities. Jayne, Mark and the team couldn't have done more for us, patience and kindness from everybody. Their help before, during and after the "day" was over and above expectations - they helped make Natalie and Terry's wedding perfect. The fact that so many friends and family were able to stay on site for the weekend was magical – we didn’t want to go home.

Having stayed in Hayloft and Bridle we can say that both cottages are excellent, well presented and well looked after – definitely five star, as are all the other cottages we visited. We will definitely be back! Thank you Mary & Bill

Just back from our fantastic holiday. Everything was perfect, the cottage was lovely, the gardens are beautiful with lots of space for the children to play. The hot tub made it even better. Jayne and the team are lovely and nothing is too much trouble for them. This was our second stay at kilminorth and we will definitely be booking another.

I have recently returned from a fab few days at Kilminorth. My family came down for a couple of days (including 2 nearly teenage boys) and then I kicked them out so my friends could take over for the last couple of days! Both, very different groups absolutely loved it. I have never felt more relaxed from the moment we arrived and was very sad to leave. So much so that I'm booking to go twice next year! The hospitality, the location and the cottages are all amazing. Massive thanks to Jayne, Mark and the team at Kilminorth x

Had the best time at Kilminorth. Staff were lovely, so accommodating. Cottage was stunning, had everything we needed and was so cosy yet spacious. Honestly couldn't fault it at all. Pool area was great and the hot tub was lovely.



Personal preferences but would have liked some comfier chairs around the pool and on the patio and maybe something to do in the evenings, like a bar area or pool table or something. We're fairly sociable people and felt a little secluded in the evenings, but that's just us!



Will definitely be returning, maybe with family or friends next time!

Enjoyed a really relaxing stay here. The hot tub was great on the cold January nights and the cottage was lovely and cosey. Wonderful place and welcoming staff!

Absolutely loved the place! Stayed in the Hayloft cottage which was great! Kids loved the jacuzzi on the balcony especially!



But by far the greatest thing about the place is its location and grounds. The gardens are immaculately kept and safe for the kids to run around in and the swimming pool is great.



I can honestly say, even with 3 children in tow, it was one of the most relaxing holidays We have had in a long long time and loved it so much we have reserved our cottage for next year already!

Absolutely loved our stay in The Hayloft! The place is my new favourite hidden gem! Hot tub was fab, our nutty chocolate labrador was welcome and nothing was too much bother for Mark and Jayne. The location by the woods was also stunning! Great place!

Looks like I am another victim of the reviews below, completly appauling service to be told a couple of days before departure that we could no longer have a holiday, this stay had been booked for the best part of six months, I can't believe it takes so long to realise you cannot fufil a booking, what I can believe is that our booking didn't make as much as what you wanted!



If you want a stress free holiday don't book here.. avoid.
