Went for Sunday lunch with friends for the second time and absolutely loved it. Gorgeous food and such a cosy pub. Love the outside area too where we went for drinks after lunch. A really great pub!

The best lunch we've had, ever! Attentive staff, lovely atmosphere and such tasty food. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Popped in on the off chance for a late lunch was met by friendly staff, served quickly and politely, all the food was very nice and at a reasonable price, will eat here again ­¤æŹ­¤æŹ

Lovely warm welcome as we walked in. No pressure to take our table. Great food. Staff lovely & very good with our 2 year old granddaughter.

No rush to leave.

Last night I was taken ill at the pub after a virus I thought I had got rid of, took over again. The staff were so lovely, they didn't charge me for the food I'd ordered and brought me water as I was trying to get my temp down outside. Gutted I didn't get to eat the food as it looked delicious. Thank you so much for your kindness x

Staff are so friendly and polite. Had the most delish chicken & mushroom pie. Great food, reasonable price and a good wine list all inside a lovely traditional pub.... perfect ’┐Į

Had a lovely meal yesterday with our friend. Food and service was excellent. The starter of blue cheese fondue was to die for! Definitely will be going back again very soon ’┐Į

Had a lovely meal as always. Came for my birthday today, staff were excellent, bottle of prosecco just for me, excellent service. 5* xxx

Fours of us booked Sunday lunch .On arrival the car park was packed to me that's a good sign .Did not have to wait long have us time for a drink at the bar .Staff were very welcoming and friendly .Food good Sunday roast treo. Hot and tasty. Dessert to follow .All went home very happy and considering we live an hour away we have no hesitation in coming back . ’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į

Fantastic roast, good value and lots of it. Rita as always works very hard, and got our whole, disjointed order perfect! 6 adults and 2 kids...not any easy task...the kids were fine it was us adults!! Regular to the kings head... xx

Booked for this Sunday. Food was delicious, with a good variety for both vegetarians and meat lovers. Service was good although they were fully booked. Good prices as well. Definitely worth the drive if you want to get that cosy country pub feeling.

Birthday lunch with four friends, lovely meal, Keith the server very polite and helpful....my second time here this week!!

Been here many times for a meal and never had a bad one. Service is always fairly quick even at busy times. Recommend to book a table but normally there's always tables available outside when the weathers nice.

Food was very good all the roast dinners had gone by 6pm but what we had was very good Sea Bass excellent its a must roast dinner next time hopefully

Food was lovely. Bit of confusion over menus..staff constantly leaning over the end person to give food to middle person and not walking round to the side of them, very rude ...

Wouldn't rush back. Long wait for food when place not full. Very dry hard chicken. Vegetable selection big disappointment.
