Stockton is the new venture from the team at @bustermantis & were excited to be the inaugural residents in their kitchen. The weekends office was a barbecue of Drings Butchers Lamb rumps, panzanella, Horta (cold spring greens, preserved lemon, fresh herbs) & watermelon, cucumber, feta and mint salad for Ollie’s 40th birthday down in Salcombe thanks to Laleh & team WonkyDog Productions for having us down 👊

Great wine tasting 161 Food+Drink Wines Under The Bonnet This particular ray of sunshine is made by our good friends Ferg & Victoria Clague of Le chapeau de paille Its a lovely fruity, organic, whole grape fermented Cinsault from the Languedoc and is featured on the wine list at our Midsummer Feast at the Master Shipwright’s. Aren’t we lucky?

It was an absolute joy to create a wedding feast for @emilymcgeevor & @mathhewbeaman @fortyhall The menu was based on using whole Jacob lambs reared on the farm. Barbecued lamb leg, braised shoulder, kofta with accompanying meze salads using vegetables also grown on the farm 🐑🌱 🌞 💗

We’re very excited to announce a sumptuous six course midsummer feast at the Master Shipwright's House, in the heart of historic Deptford, 22nd and 23rd June. The Master Shipwright’s House was built in 1708 on the site of its Tudor predecessor, as a home to the Master Shipwright of the Deptford Royal Dockyard. For over eight centuries Deptford was a shipbuilding site. This history, now largely hidden by modern buildings and development, is preserved in the Grade II listed Mas...ter Shipwright’s House, now in private ownership and only occasionally open to to public view. Local chefs Matt Klose and Sam Soan have been inspired by the historic setting, and the midsummer solstice, to create a sumptuous 6 course menu, which recalls Britain and Deptford’s maritime past and the famous figures who visited the docks and the house. With just 30 diners per night, these intimate feasts will begin with a welcome drink on the banks of the River Thames, before moving into the candlelit dinning room as the long summer evening draws in. I've been to several of the pop-up restaurants that they have put on and the cuisine is first class. Delicious food and the carefully selected wine to compliment made for a lovely evening.
