Plus what a amazing night!!!

User

Went to see hollywood undead at koko on tuesdays 30th Jan. Had a wonderful time there the staff were brilliant and very helpful great place to see the band never been to koko before but would highly recommend it

User

Went to see DJ Yoda. Never been to KOKO before. Fabulous atmosphere, great sound and lovely looking venue. We enjoyed the quip from the queue outside when we left at about 2am - "Mum and Dad have left the building". Mum and Dad will be back soon.

User

Went to see Accept. Venue looks great from the outside. Inside it has a great bar by the rooftop terrace. Other bars. We watched from a bay down the side and had a great view. The gig was awesome. Never paid over 5 quid before for a diet coke lol. If you like rock bands especially old school this place is the best. Mornington Crescent tube opposite to Marylebone 20 minutes.

User

Saw Testament here and was first time visiting the venue. The venue itself is great, the sound mix was also great. Big shoutout to security who were top notch. Helping catch stage divers all night and kicked out a dude who was acting like a lemon (Clearly off his head on something).

User

One of my fav venues as I always have a great time esp at Peach. The staff are friendly and the bonus was I was served drinks quickly all night very unusual as busy.

User

Me and two of my friends, went to see Tom Walker on Tuesday night. Was absolutely incredible. We didn’t have any coats or bags to put in the cloakroom so we never experienced any of that, the only flaw I can say is that when we were dancing my shoes were sticking to the floor.. but you can expect that given your attending a gig and people put their drink cups on the floor. Prices of the drinks were expensive however what you do expect in Camden. We had a wicked night, watching a great artist in an amazing venue.

User

Lovely old theatre, amazing view of the band, nowhere in the place was too far away from the stage, my new favourite venue, much better than a huge place like the o2, went to see Accept, one of my all time favourite bands, really good night out all the round.

User

Love this place! Went for the first time yesterday and the staff were absolutely incredible both inside the venue and throughout the day!

They kept up well with the constant crowd surfers, ensuring everyone's safety, and were brilliant with a few people who had to get out of the crowd, making sure they still had a great time.

I can't thank the KOKO staff enough for an amazing night

I went to see Tyga last night (10th May 2018) and cannot phrase the staff and security there enough!! I am 6 months pregnant and was offered for my friends and I to have the balcony with a chair to use during the concert. Then when we decide to stay on the floor because we was right at the front, I had a security guard stood near me and keep a check on me the whole time and made sure no one pushed into me. They made me feel reassured and safe, after debating whether or not to go as the concert was postponed 2 and a half months, but so glad I did. So thank you to all the staff there

User

Great concert venue, really quirky and different and easy to get served a beer or two in the upstairs bar. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere.

User

Came here to see Suggs.

Great small venue, loads of history.

Old so a bit shabby but also part of its charm.

Drinks are unjustifiably expensive. I know it's a music venue, I know it's in central London, I know you have a captive market but over £11 for 2 cans of Kronenbourg? At least £10 of that is profit.

User

Went to the Nightmares on Wax gig.5 star venue and atmosphere no star for service at the bar.4 bar staff on and the bars 7 deep. Not good enough and you're losing money. Happy to give 5 stars if this is sorted

User

Went to KOKO Wednesday to see a film premiere plus Q&A afterwards. Not impressed that there was no seating but I guess this wasn’t the fault of the venue.

Few seats upstairs but these were closed off to the general public. Not great when you have to stand for over 2hrs watching a screen

Drinks were same price as Camden pubs so no shock but £2.50 to hang up your coat is way too much .... but on the plus side there wasn’t much of a queue when I went to collect.

Venue is great, old Camden Palace which looks quite original inside, imagine it’s a great venue for a gig.

Dispute being a little disappointed we had a great time & would definitely return there.

I've been in this place for two years, I've always recommended it and brought many friends. Yesterday at the Antics event I got the proof that Koko is became an unsafe place. There have been at least 5 fights under the eyes of the only one bouncer presents on the stage that he well thought to do nothing for saving his skin as well. A drunk guy yesterday has been blocked and repeatedly hit (under the stage) by a group of five came at koko with the only intention to fight. More than once under the stage there was a proper fighting area created by chain of people where inside they pushed each other and inevitably fighted.

After 2am someone has had the brilliant idea to smoke inside covered by the crowd, even though your ID is scanned at the entrance not everyone were 18 years old.

Nothing to say about the music and the location that are amazing (the only reason of why I still go there)but sadly doesn't count when you can't enjoy the event safely.

As advice you should move part of the bouncers from the hall to inside (just one or two bouncers on the stage can't do anything) there are at least 6 bouncers on the exit and in the same time a fight under the stage every 15 minutes; increase the selection of people at the entrance, some of them you notice just the face for understanding what kind of persons they are; Scan the ID but check the birth date as well; improve the security check at the entrance, looking even inside and under the jacket not just barely touching. Invest on the quality not on the quantity, because as much money you earn from every person you allow to come in as much you lose in the next event cause people like me would like just to have safe fun.

Thank you

Kind Regards

Great night with the Natalia Lafourcade concert. The prior arrangement for seating and help from security staff were great. Big fault with the departure though: a full house of people having to leave through a narrow tunnel where people were also queuing for the cloakroom was dangerous. Like many people I had tried to leave via side exits which are the norm in theatres like this, but which basically led nowhere. Major fire risk!

User

Went there to see Motionless in white with Ice nine kills. Amazing performances. But there were a lot of people whom werent there to enjoy the music but they were purposely hurting people and the security did nothing about it. A friend whom I was with was not in the pit and they pushed her and she fell FOUR times. And they did not stop while me and her boyfriend were attempting to help her we were being pushed into her and almost fell on top of her. There were elder man with beers pushing and punching us girls and it was horrid. Gasping for air and instead being pushed and punched where were were not in the middle area. Also would like to point out that there was not a single strobe light sign. Apart from that the show was amazing.

User

We were arriving at 10.28 pm they scanned our entrance tickets we bough for free and got scanned and everything was ok! But then we got scanned again and they told us we have to pay 10£!!! Our friends hadn’t have to pay because they had no cash but we had to!!! that’s really disappointing! That’s no good reputation for the club! Just promise sth you can promise to your customers! Otherwise DON’T!!! Thanks! DISAPPOINTING!!!

User

Let me tell you that it’s not only because you have “warnings” at your doors about phones disappearing that your jobs are done! You should do something! Put some inspection when people are leaving , for example! Or the securities could actually do something, because i saw a lot of them just doing nothing.

I’m pretty sure that if I stayed in front of the bar, just watching, I would see lots of people being stolen.
