What an amazing experience! My girlfriend and I were looking for a nice place to eat during a cold Thursday evening at Goodge St and we came across Kua 'Aina. Right from when we walked in we were welcomed by Sarah, the friendliest person I have met. She found us a nice spot, took our orders and warned us that whatever we choose will be amazing... and she was right! The tastiest teriyaki chicken with a kick to it I had in a while. It has to be said that whilst waiting for the food to arrive we were offered two shots of prosecco with with some sort of juice (on the house!). I can't remember what they were but I'm having it again.
After we finally managed to clear the massive portions of tastiness, time for dessert. Sarah recommended the pancakes "all the way". She was right again! They hit just the spot. Advice: chocolate chip is the way to go.
All-in-all an amazing experience and one that I will be repeating again soon. Thank you Sarah for making date night so special! Needless to say, after all this food, I left the restaurant at least two months pregnant.
What a great experience. You're waitress Sarah was absolutely fantastic and I would definitely come again! The food and cocktails were great!
Went there a couple of weeks ago with a friend and I just have to say that the food and hospitality was amazing. Loved the decor of the place and the friendly staff (a waitress by the name of Sarah served me). I will most definitely be coming back
We had wonderful customer service from Sarah today, she was so attentive and friendly and we had a great time
We had the nicest time with the most lovely staff! Sarah made us feel at home and is amazing! My daughter wanted to stay there to work even though she is 5 years old haha! We will be back there next time we are in London xx
The staff and service were excellent, my brother tried and failed with the challenge but the food was fresh tasty and cooked well. Don't often leave reviews but I would recommend going, very chilled and relaxed atmosphere.
The food was excellent; the ambience was laid back & all the staff were so eager to please! All the family enjoyed it immensely & we will certainly be returning, mahalo Kua 'Aina!(Goodge Street)
The best best best food ever. Same high quality food & service as the Carnaby branch. This one has more seating and is perfect for bigger groups or parties.
Restaurant is cozy and staffs are super nice! The sweet potato fries and coconut Milkshake are definitely out of this world! Must visit.
Lovely food friendly staff and good fun this had been my second time and will be back
Lovely brunch, classic menu choices with a twist. Curious to be back for lunch or dinner!
Loved the food, the service, the vibe! Would go again in a heartbeat!
Little gem on the heart of London. Friendly staff, lovely food at very reasonable prices. Will definitely be back
Just love this place, great food and pleasant service, amazing
Just had an amazing meal and complimentary smoothie with Sharon, the burgers are the best I've ever had and the staff were so friendly, especially Misha. 5 stars for service
Just finished my delicious dinner at Kua Aina and I cannot recommend it enough. The food was fresh, flavourful and absolutely delicious. The American-style customer service was absolutely superb. They ensured the order was 100% accurate, they refilled our waters every time they ran low, asked us how the food was, and made recommendations so we made the best choices from the fantastic menu! It is absolutely worth the visit and if you go, you absolutely must try their sweet potato fries. 10/10.
Just finished a lovely dinner with my friends and we were served by the most lovely waitress. Thank you Sara for your great hospitality, we will definitely come back!
It was fantastic. I love Burgers and that was the best. I will be back!!!!!!! For sure. Well done keep it up.
I'm from the northwest so not spent much time down here, what an absolute treat. Spent a good hour juat walking the streets trying to find somewhere to eat and I'm so happy I chose this place. Friendly service all round and the food was amazing- chicken cooked over lava rocks was out of this world. Sarah the waitress was unbelievable. Informative, chatty, helpful, attentive but not at all intrusive. Fantastic, fast, delicious, prompt. 100% would come again if im in the area
I went in without knowing they were having a free breakfast promotions. Ordered pancakes with bacon I think, and it was Super delicious. And when we asked for bill, we are only charged for our drinks which were only a few pounds. That was pretty awesome!
I and family are from HK for vacation in London. We went to Kua Aina for lunch. The chicken burger is very tasty and juicy, fried sweet potatoes are fantastic, the salad and its special sauce are yummy too. The waitress is friendly and considerate. She helps to divide the burger and salad into half for me to share with my daughter. Overall my family is very happy to have lunch here.
Honestly the best burger I've ever had. The staff are lovely and the service was fast and friendly. Would definitely recommend this place to all my friends.
Great!
Good service and excellent food. Very very nice place!
Great service, amazing salsa, lovely smoothie and the best chicken burger I had in a long long time! So tasty! Only downside: it was so filling I didn't manage to have dessert! I'll definitely be back, the happy hour sounds incredible!
Great pancakes, sausage and eggs, good coffee and friendly staff. Recommend it!
Great food and amazing milkshakes! The one with coconut and rum is just delicious. Excellent service from Sarah and all the staff. Can't wait to be back!
Great family meal, we all loved it, nice staff, fast and attentive service, excellent food, kids loved the onion rings and the sweet potato fries are addictive!
Great burgers and cocktails. Staff very friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back and recommend to friends.
Food was great, would recommend the raspberry & mango smoothie... Staff were fantastic - will be back for sure!
Food is fantastic as always, the place looks fab and best is the service of the staff smiling having a small chat with customers and very polite. And one of the staff remember us from the other branch im carnaby.
Fantastic place. Food and cocktails were great. So good we went back for breakfast the next day at the venue in Carnaby Street.
Burgers were the best we’ve had in the UK and the service and atmosphere were great. Really chilled out vibe and a shock to walk back out into a dark, rainy London! We’ll be back.
Lovely friendly service. I was with my husband and 2 kids. Great value kids menu only £5 including skull glass drink and ice lolly. Burgers and chips were nice.
Lovely brunch, very pleasant staff, would definitely recommend
Great atmosphere from as soon as we stepped in 2 for 1 cocktails ordered
Food was very good
Apart from a couple of things we ordered that went on deaf ears ...but made their way on the bill ..in which was sorted straight away ..
We come out of there saying
We would go back again
Used to really like this place. But in my opinion they've gone downhill since the menu change. Not only did they get rid of the Hawaiian punch but they no longer offer a variety of all day pancakes. No longer able to buy fries separately (they only give a handful) and "free" slaw is the size of a ketchup cup.
Food was ok, but not great, didn’t enjoy the experience overall. Indifferent service, bit smelly, dirty toilet.
fun place - although the service was super slow, we ended up there for 2 hours for everyone to get their meals during a weekday lunchtime, and, not necessarily in the order that they had ordered to eat them! it was a team lunch, 15 people, it seems they couldn't cope with a booking of that size? (perhaps, next time a big table books they ask them to pre-order?) with all that said, it was also over priced for what we got!
The worst place I've been in my life. I found a hair in my food. The manager said that it was mine (I am blond and short hair and the hair was brown and long like her hair). I hate this place.
