As many of you already know, La Perla closed its doors for the final time on Friday 30 September.
We would like to thank you all for your valued custom and the many, many good times we have shared over the last 20 years.

Our new cocktails are now available on our menu! Come on down and try 1 (or 2)! Here's the Guava Swing; Chairman’s Reserve white rum, Guava puree, coconut water, syrup de gomme, lime juice and cucumber - delicious!
Here's another of our new cocktails coming onto our menu next week - Crimson Tide; Zubrowzka bison grass vodka, pomegranate, Calvados, agave nectar & orange bitters - amazing!
Wonderful comfort food! Staff was very friendly and they happily made me an alcohol free drink since I am pregnant.

My favourite bar in the world. Superb, knowledgable bar staff. Perfectly executed classic cocktails. The best tequila selection I've ever seen. If you don't have fun here, you need to go and have a long hard look at your life.

Love this place. Great food, great vibe, great drinks and salsa.
It was a quiet time at the end of lunchtime but the staff were still smiling. We were hot and without asking the waitress brought us two glasses of iced water with the comment "you look like you need these" and a bottle of water and nachos all on the house. Main meal was lovely freshly cooked hot and spicy. Cocktails were generous coffee excellent. Will go again.

Happy Hour is amazing! Margaritas were so moreish would of ordered more but I couldn't get too drunk before the show :)

Brilliant little gem of a bar/restaurant. Great atmosphere. Great food and great service. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back!
Best cocktails ever! Proper cocktails with great ingredients and nothing synthetic.
Been coming here since 2008. It's more than a good bar, it's an institution. Should be given blue plaque status. The minute you walk in you are transported to a back street in Tijuana. Top cocktails, good music, lifts a flagging soul. I salute you.

Had a really nice lunch from the 'express' menu. Lots of food, and a beer, for around £10. Great value, good atmosphere, and much better than the regular chain Mexican restaurants that are popping up around London of late.
Good things: Guacamole, Tequila, Happy hour drink prices
Not so good things: Tortilla chips, the rest of the food
The quality of the food, that once rivaled a proper Mexican food restaurant in Tijuana, Baja Norte, is but a shade of its former glory today. The tortilla chips are the most horrendous example of the failure from its glory days. Once, tortilla chips were made and not these thick things now found at other faux-Mexican spots across London. The nuevo-Mexicano menu goes far off piste from the original food that inspired the founders to create Cafe Pacifico and La Perla. Someday, they may be inspired to return to those roots; but, sadly, it's not today.
