Wow wow wow I had the fortune of securing Lainston House as the venue for my wedding so visited the venue numerous times in the run up to the big day.

Every single visit the service was exquisite.

The food that the catering team create is devine. The rooms are incredible.

Went for afternoon tea as a surprise birthday treat!. Food tasted amazing as well as it being Well presented. Would certainly recommend as a birthday or special treat. Staff were very attentive too

We just held our wedding here on 19th May, what can i say......the most perfect, amazing, gorgeous day of our whole lives! They made our wedding dreams come true in every way! The staff were truly amazing, from Alex in the banqueting team who held our menu and wine tasting (amazing day and best part of the planning), to Danielle who helped plan everything to a T and not forgetting the amazing Malcom, the Master of Ceremonies who kept the day running like clockwork! A huge thank you the chefs who made the most amazing food - everyone was raving about it after the meal! I would recommend using the wedding suppliers here too, specifically @exclusivelyweddings for flowers and @luminque for lighting. Everything was perfect! Could not fault ANYTHING! Thank you so much @lainstonhouse, you delivered perfection! ������

The hubby and I escaped home for a wonderful night at Lainston House. Our 'Holly' room was a very good size with a huge bed with beautiful white crisp bedding and a stunning bathroom with an infinity bath and a double person shower. We spent quite a lot of time in the bar for pre and post meal drinks. They have a fantastic selection of gins, and my husband sampled a 'twisted nose'. Our bar man was absolutely lovely and gave us lots of information on the building and the history of some of the empty bottles of drink that adored the walls of the bar lounge. Our A la carte meal was incredible, can't fault it and it was brought to us by very professional, warm and attentive waiters. Not sure what to add, apart from wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks again guys, well be back very soon ��

Staff made us all feel very special today, thoroughly fabulous mother's day afternoon tea. Gluten free for hubby was the best he's ever had and children's options was still grown up and not 'childish'. We can't wait to be back for more. Thank you.

Our wedding was on Thuraday 22nd June 2017 it was an awesome day, the grounds of Lainston House are beautiful in June and the weather was on our side. The location is just stunning & all the staff were brilliant throughout. I want to take this opportunity to thank every single member of staff as you made our day so relaxed and so special. Oh wow!!! Took a friend for sparkling afternoon tea for her 30th birthday, it was A M A Z I N G..the hotel and staff are first class..the staff so pleasant and attentive and the hotel decor is so beautiful and very tasteful and the grounds and gardens are simply gorgeous. I cannot rate this hotel highly enough and I will definitely be returning again very soon. If anyone is comtemplating a visit....it is definitely a MUST

My wife and I enjoyed an absolutely fantastic 2 night stay in the Chapel Suite at Lainston House. The first night we had beautifully made cocktails and one of the best steaks I have ever eaten. During the next day we wandered the extensive and well kept grounds, including the bird of prey enclosures, before relaxing for an equally impressive and thoroughly recommended afternoon tea. Both my wife and I were particularly impressed with the attentive staff and the beautiful wood craftmanship in the Cedar Bar. Overall, our stay at Lainston House has been an absolutely outstanding experience.

My wife and I booked a suite here on the morning of our stay, a matter of days after being wed. The service was impeccable and our stay most enjoyable. The manager kindly hand wrote a congratulatory note and gave us a chilled bottle of champagne waiting in the room as we arrived. We were also very privileged to receive a complimentary upgrade to a 4-poster suite. The restaurant and bar is a must to visit-the alchemy of fine dining and liquorist skill is clearly evident and delivered by very attentive staff.



We will hopefully return soon enough, but in the meantime, we thank everyone at Lainston for allowing us to escape in the moment as newly husband and wife.

I have never been to a better hotel, the rooms are great, the setting is great, the building is great, the food is great but the star turn is the staff, they are exceptional

Had a magical overnight stay with my family for my eightieth birthday. The room was excellent, the food was wonderful together with the ambience of the hotel and staff made the experience unforgettable. The grounds were lovely to walk and the falconry experience was the icing on the cake for me.

Enjoyed a lovely long weekend at the hotel. Great location, beautiful room, delicious dinner and the staff were brilliant. Made the weekend with 2 children a relaxed and very enjoyable one.

Can’t fault this hotel from the excellent food, stunning room (suite) and extremely professional staff. Location is beautiful anyway but the hotel set in the middle of the grounds just carries it all off.

Thank you to all staff at Lainston Hotel for a great first night for my wife’s 50th.....next time we will bring the kids!!

Beautiful hotel in a lovely setting. I went for afternoon tea with my son and his wife and her mum for a belated Mothers Day treat and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The staff were all very friendly and the food was very good. A wonderful selection of teas on offer to suit every taste. The champagne was very nice too! Would definitely recommend this hotel for a special occasion.

A simply incredible experience ahead of our wedding there in August. We have our menu tasting and decided to stay the night as a treat too. The staff were fantastic and incredibly accommodating and informative. It's such a beautiful building and the room we stayed in was fantastic.



After that stay we are even more excited about our wedding there now!

A little piece of paradise on earth. One of our favourite country house hotels not least because of its laid back luxe vibe and the incredibly beautiful grounds. The food here is exquisite too. The only thing we dislike is having to leave ! 💕💕💕💕

I am still here until tomorrow. It is as expected a quiet luxury retreat from the busy world at large. It is expensive but even a cup of tea is made to feel special. The staff are brilliant and eager to please. Would like to come again in warmer weather, we had lovely blue skies but temperatures at Zero brrr!!! ❄️❄️❄️
