Game at Beltane versus Highland Wildcats about to kick off!

This Sunday sees the Longhorns playing at home again versus key rivals the Highland Wildcats.
The game kicks off at 12.00 noon, Beltane Park , Wishaw . Hope to see as many of you as possible get along to lend the team your support for what will no doubt be another fiercely contested game ..... not one to miss !!

Longhorns opening game of the 2015 season against Clackmannanshire Ravens ends with a 30 - 6 win.
Next game is at home to Edinburgh Wolves on 17th May.

'Sno reason not to practice!

Practice will take place this morning at Beltane Park , Wishaw from 10am. Dress appropriate for cold conditions.

Happy New Year everyone. Practice resumes this Sunday, 10.00am at Beltane Park , Wishaw.

Many thanks to all the new and returning players who have been attending practice the past 2 months, looking really promising for 2015 guys. We will now be breaking from practice until mid January, keep an eye here for updates on when we resume.

Smokin' Guns Fitness : Team Sponsors Lanarkshire Longhorns AFC

We are delighted to announce a new partnership with Andrew McGee and his company Smokin' Guns Fitness . Andrew, who helped with the presentation of awards on Friday, will be working with the team in relation to fitness and nutrition and hopefully further areas of development in the future.
We are even more delighted to announce that Smokin' Guns Fitness will be our new Team Sponsor with a major investment in new strips for the 2015 season !!

In other news, we are pleased to announce the visit of Canadian High School coach Chris Glass in June next year. Coach Glass will be spending a week in Scotland hopefully with some of his staff and will be leading some coaching clinics for local players. All going well he hopes to return in the late summer with his team(s) and play some exhibition matches ! More on that as we get the details confirmed.
