We have just finished our experience and had a FANTASTIC day!!!! 2 of our group did the rally experience where they each had 20 laps driving round the track, 2 of us did the passenger lap in the Subaru which was absolutely exhilarating!!! And then all 4 of us did the passenger lap around the track as a passenger in the seat sprint which was very thrilling! The people working there are who make the experience...friendly, knowledgable and clearly love what they do (and are very good at it). The venue is friendly and welcoming - I would suggest this rally school for anyone seeking a thrilling and fun day out

User

Was fantastic learnt some great skills, combined with a lot of fun, nice friendly people running it.

Even went out in the Subaru and clocked 120 just amazing

User

Travelled 2 hours for my 9 year old sons driving lesson experience and I have to say it was well worth it! He absolutely loved it and the staff were beyond friendly from the moment we got there. His instructor Roy was amazing with him and was patient from start to finish. I don’t know the name of the chap who did the hot lap experience with them but he was also really friendly towards them which made the experience all the more better. Would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a driving experience. Thank you so much! Will definitely come again

User

Took our 8yr old for his first ever experience behind the wheel of a car and we can honestly say it was amazing. The staff were friendly and we were very happy with James the instructor whom made Zakks experience! The new facilities were lovely and you can tell they are trying hard. Thankyou for a great experience, I am sure we will be back soon.

User

The family had booked the rally experience for our mums 70th Birthday. Our booking was 4pm and we did have to wait a bit, but not to be disappointed. We also turned up with my son and his friend and to their surprise we were able to book them both in for the rally experience as well. You guys were very complimentary about our boys (thank you). All the staff were welcoming, friendly and full of fun!!

There was plenty of banter with the guy (sorry forgot his name) who was sorting who was next in the cars and strapping you in. He was really funny, a real good laugh.😂

Tom the driver was brilliant!!! Mum and the boys really enjoyed the thrill of going fast! Mum said " Bloody brilliant." So thanks for making that fun for her.

Even though we were the last group there we were never made to feel that we had to leave. We took some photos and had a chat with all the staff about the cars and racing. We all had a good time, so we would like to say a very big "THANK-YOU" to all off the staff at Langley.

We would definitely go again.

Really great experience my nephew did the 20 lap two car experience and I had a two lap sprint in Suzuki

Great instructors great staff polite would recommended to anyone wanting to try first time rally drive.

We will defo be going back for more.

User

Really good day, good experience, friendly staff just went so quick shame you have to use your laps in a left hand drive car and getting used to the track as just as I was getting the hang of it time was up. Think you should get a few free laps and then go for it depending on your driving experience and ability?

User

My son enjoyed a great driving session today. Les was so good with him and he made the experience all the more special for our car crazy 9 year old. Staff were welcoming and very friendly. Thank you so much.

User

My husband, Richard Haye, was given a voucher for his 50th birthday. He really enjoyed the experience with good instructors encouraging him around the rally track. We will be back and I hope to have a go next time too!

Me and my other half have just spent the day here, we could not fault the place at all. All the guys were great. The 9.30 til 4 day worked well, although we did overrun we were never made to feel time pushed. The group of 6 people across 3 sierra rwd cars worked great! Never spent much more than 15 minutes out of the car! Food was lovely, nice home cooked meal. I would highly recommend lprs! Especially for the whole day session! Thank you for making my Christmas present so memorable. Donya and steve

I will be honest, i read a lot of reviews before going today and i must admit it really did put me off wanting to go. I had already made my mind up that i was going to have a bad experience even though i had not even arrived yet. Upon arrival myself and my dad @[1253638372:Robert Mcloughlin] were greeted by a very friendly assistant who then handed us over to the front desk which the young guy there was also very friendly and polite. once suited up we then participated in 15 laps in 2 different cars which i thought was exhilarating. I personally found the instructors fantastic and extremely knowledgeable and made you feel at ease behind the wheel. Both my father and i were in agreement that we would highly recommend this experience to anyone who has a need for speed or just wants a rush.

Thank you guys for the experience

Had the 18 mile Sierra Cosworth experience and was great to have a good go at some rallying, James (instructor) was fantastic, even with me at the wheel.

I would not hesitate to recommend this experience to anyone, also I will give some extra laps a go and a hot lap with one of the experienced drivers next time I visit.

Yes the location is a bit rural but what do people expect... the course was fun and the rain in my opinion added to the experience!!

Took my 16, 14 and 10 year old here. Booked in October through wowcher and was cancelled once due to weather. Not signposted well. Toilets are vile and so small, I’m tiny and struggled! On arrival we booked in and I assume spoke to the owner. Not a happy chappy and we weren’t made to feel welcome. BUT once we met the instructors I felt a lot better. Cheerful people at last! Boys had a blast and I paid extra for them to have a lap with an instructor driving. Not keen on the marking of the driving as it just caused rows on the way home and my 10 year old felt a little deflated with his scores . On the whole they had a great time.

User

Really good fun BUT they sooooo missed a trick. They give a certificate on which the drivers appear to be supposed to mark you on speed, driving skill, handling braking etc etc but they didn't bother to mark it, devaluing the certificate and the overall experience. If you aren't going to use it don't give out a certificate. Imagine all the drivers down the pub later and the banter and good vibe created by those certificates. Instead all you get is a best lap time.

I had an awesome time at this place. The instructors were knowledgeable and friendly , I would go again if the opportunity came up but the certificate would be under a magnet on my fridge IF it was used for what it's designed for by the rally school ,not in the recycling.

User

On the day an amazing experience for my 15 year old.

But I think communication could be more up to date before hand.

On arrival when we found it. The signposts that have been put up only if you come in from one way. So once we had turn back on ourselves we found it easily. The man that greeted us wasn’t the most chatty happy person but didn’t take offence to that, that’s how he is that’s fine. The man that took my son out was friendly and made sure he enjoyed his experience. The toilets are the ritz but it’s a portaloo and was acceptable. Cafe area clean and responsibly price.

I paid through groupon and a shame that it’s not more affordable without as they take a massive cut of the payment. Just an idea.

User

Had a lot of fun today, well organised very friendly people, no waiting around. Would recommend the subaru ride! Would go again

User

Good track, good staff but, I paid a lot of money for the top package for my son to experience the 3 drive options of a rally car (Extended Extreme Rally Day) which should be 10 laps FWD, 10 laps 4WD and 10 laps RWD. We arrived and he signed in, paid for the on-board recording option and went out in the 4WD and then the FWD we waited a while and asked when he would go in the RWD to be told there isn't one but he had been given extra laps in the other 2. (That defeated the object of the day). There was then a debate about whether he had a 'Hot Lap' with his package despite it being the top package and it being written on the paperwork. At booking, arrival or during, indeed until we questioned it, we were not told that they don't do RWD. Very disappointing considering the cost and the attraction of doing all 3 drive options.

User

The driving experience itself was good fun and enjoyable BUT....it didn't match the advertised experience.

We booked the experience through intotheblue using their advertising to select the package.

The advert stated 15 laps, 5 laps in FWD, 5 in RWD and 5 in 4WD. The track was advertised at 1.5miles so we thought 15 x 1.5 miles = 22.5 miles great. The ad also stated the experience would last 2 to 2.5 hrs. Based on this we travelled from east Kent, a 100 mile + journey with my family, me, my wife and two boys ( both in their 20's and committed petrol heads). They were particularly keen to drive the RWD vehicle which may have been a retro ford.

On arrival and signing in, the sheet stated we would drive only two cars; no RWD available but still 15 laps. Boys disappointed.

Whilst I didn't measure the track at 1.5 miles my best time of 1 min 11 secs meant that I averaged around 80 -90 mph. NO WAY!!! My estimation is that the track was 500 - 600 m long.

The whole experience was over in just under an hour.

So in summary...what we got WAS god fun BUT it fell massively short of the advertisement and my expectations were not met, considering the distance travelled.

User

So i bought a triple rally experience day for my partner which we pick three cars one being the cosworth . So after he had completed the other two , we were then informed its no longer in with the package deal that i payed for!!

My partner was very disappointed

Id also like to add toilet facilities are awful.

User

Absolutely disgusted with the attitude of the staff they seemed like they wanted an argument about everything (maybe the heat got to them).

I had paid for a ralley driving experience for my 10 year old for him to end up driving a fiesta!

Dont get me wrong my 10 year old really enjoyed driving but it was not what we were expecting and Mr Clark really upset him and ruined it with his attitude.

Not worth the money and will not be returning.

User

wasn't allowed to go fast what a complete waste of money. Anyone thinking of going to the same place don't bother it's a complete rip off. Paid for 30 laps and only did 20 max and couldn't do anything without getting told off

User

Very unprofessional and really shouldn't be able to operate as a business . My partner had a rally day booked on Groupon as a birthday present and was really looking forward to this experience. Unfortunately the first rally day was cancelled due to the weather which was understandable and we was contacted by the rally school to confirm cancellation. Today we got up early with our 2 sons to drive over an hour and a half to a field in the middle of nowhere with 2 run down portacabins , there was no sign off anyone but there was 2 Eastern European workers there that had explained that the people running it had just left . We called the Rally school who said they had cancelled the rally day and we should have been contacted , no apology and quite frankly they was very rude on the phone trying to pass the blame to Groupon , I run my own business and I would be appalled if potential clients had been treated in this way !

Avoid these Cowboys !

User

Total and utter rubbish. Unless you like wasting a day.

User

I attended this supposed rally SCHOOL today with a friend of mine, with vouchers from Red Letter Days. We paid a considerable amount for the extended experience (30 laps), and it must be said the two instructors (Roy and a young man, Simon, I believe) were very good; engaging, and educational.

Problems arose when my friend paying close attention to the instruction of his guide took one corner slightly wide and clipped a cone, taking the wheel arch off his car. This resulted in the owner, Simon Clark (an older man who wears a flat cap), taking him off. My friend then swapped cars with myself, and assumed the laps he missed out on (around 7 laps) would be made up in his 2nd car, meanwhile I was driving his supposedly 'wrecked' car.

Upon completion of our alloted laps we realised this was not the case, and proceeded to the reception to ask what happened next. The man at reception got on his walkie to the boss, and then told us that due to damage to the car he'd been pulled in. He told us repair costs totaled £30 which still left my friend out of pocket. At which point Simon Clark was called in.

He told my friend he was driving out of control, despite the fact he'd been out in the second car already, and he deemed him unfit for the experience hence would not be getting any recourse. Simon spoke in a very rude and belittling manner, and it struck me that he has incredibly poor business acumen, in addition to his poor general behaviour. At this point I should say the instructors were very apologetic when out on the course, and seemed to feel sympathy for our plight. An act the boss seemed incapable of, it was my general impression that the boss was in a bad mood, and took this out on us. His profile on the website states he wants to help young people learn skills on the road, clearly this couldn't be further from the truth!

In addition to this the RWD, and white knuckle experience advertised on Red Letter Days are in fact not included. Which Langley Park 'kindly' informed us of only when we arrived, no compensation was offered in any way for this either.

So if you're looking for a rally school that allows for no mistakes despite your best efforts, and offers dismal customer service in spite of the astronomical fees charged, Langley Park is your place.

User

Dont go here they are amateurish they cancel bookings and when you try to rebook they are rude and extremely unhelpfull in fact it's taken so long our voucher ran out and the guy on the phone just got shity with us thankfully buy a gift .com have extended the voucher so we can use it else where.

wasn't allowed to go fast what a complete waste of money. Anyone thinking of going to the same place don't bother it's a complete rip off. Paid for 30 laps and only did 20 max and couldn't do anything without getting told off

Total and utter rubbish. Unless you like wasting a day.
