Latimer Minster

Due to the orange weather warning tomorrow. Services at Latimer Minster have been cancelled - we have been told gusts in excess of 50mph can be expected in exposed places and woods in the Chilterns tomorrow... our church is in a tent on an exposed hill amongst woods... :-) so we think the safety of all is paramount and we do not want to risk any flying debris etc tomorrow. Weather update :

There have been some Wind warnings for Sunday ⚠️ 💨 currently there is a forecast for some quick gusts of wind on Sunday morning. All plans, based on current forecasts, are in place for services and children’s activities to run as normal. However, if there is a significant change of forecast we have protocols in place and may run shorter services in the barns. If it is truly treacherous or if branches of trees start to detach etc then we will keep the safety of all people as paramount importance. Please check social media and Facebook early on Sunday morning for final update.

We will then begin our Carol Service at 7:30pm.

We are looking forward to seeing you all this Sunday for our Carol Service at 7:30pm, with festive treats served in the Barns from 7pm.
This will be an adult-friendly service, where our aim is to immerse all who are present in a re-telling of the Christmas story through carols and stories.

We understand that there are still a lot of pot holes on the track at the moment but unfortunately we need to wait until it is a bit warmer and drier before we can fill these in so please pray for dry/warm weather and drive carefully up the track for the time being!🌤
