Open Farm Sunday 2018 took place on June 10 and was a great success! Thank you to everyone who came along to support our event and to all our wonderful colleagues and guest supporters (Omnibus Kitchen, Winterdale Cheeses and Pony Parties Kent) for making everything run so smoothly.
We produce 1000’s of tonnes of lettuce and baby leaf salads every year. Come along and see how we plant, grow and harvest these crops on a big scale. We estimate that 1.5 million people eat our salad every day. We can almost guarantee that you will have eaten some of our salads in the past, whether that be from buying a bag of salad from TESCO, or from your local farm shop. Eating out at a pub or restaurant in Kent, or having a Big Mac from McDonalds!!! The food that we produce ends up in all of these places. McDonalds will be bringing their own stand to the farm. Come along and have a look at how we do it, and make sure that you bring your kids!!!
