What a restaurant! Such lovely people and made our night so memorable, one of the best meals and experiences I have ever had. Well done caprice, see you soon.
We had a fabulous meal here yesterday (17.09.17) and the service was excellent! The only downside was that in our hurry to get to our next destination, we didn't notice that we had paid the tip twice!! (We didn't realise that the service charge had already been added! *sighs*).
However, we would highly recommend this restaurant.
The best chicken Milanese . Had the split pea and ham soup tonight which was so delicious and the beetroot and blood orange salad with blue cheese which was excellent as well . One of my very favorite restaurants in London for sure
Simply fabulous! Thank you for a great dining experience.
My favourite restaurant in All London.
As ever the service and food is excellent, the ambiance and atmosphere of the place is great.
Me and my hubby had the best deep fried fish ever! Super service so attentive staff! Recomend this resturant for all who visit London.
Lunch with our American friends. Service impeccable. Food delicious.
Loved every moment. Really friendly staff, amazing food, fantastic jazz - and a lovely birthday surprise too.
I wanted to spoil the Good Lady and after a recommendation by my Boss we did indeed celebrate in style , from our Hotel a short taxi ride to the Le Caprice . The moment we walked in to our left was the pianist playing soothing tunes . We were greeted by front of house staff confirmed booking and took coats and guided us to our lovely table when seated two glasses of champagne were presented a lovely touch . My wife enjoyed her self throughly taking in the ambience , decor mirrors and quotes adorned the walls coupled with the soft lighting it was a sureal experience. The owner maitre d was greeting all guest coming to guest tables . With a warm smile and hand shake he listened to our news of our pearl wedding anniversary . He did not hesitate and organised truffles with a lovely message pipped around the edge. At the Le Caprice they the staff and owner went above and beyond our wildest dreams . Making this visit a most memorable occasion. We will definitely visit again when in London . Well done to all at the Le Caprice keep up the good work.
Hands down, my favourite restaurant in London. Amazing steak tartar. Accomplished service. Excellent pianist. Truly special.
Fabulous friendly staff and great food - excellent for a special occasion - always feel special when we go there x
Excellent- great staff lovely food .. went after watching England beat Wales in the 6 nations and the pianist played swing low sweet chariot ..
Elegant dining room in a great location; the staff are welcoming and attentive with everyone; the food is good and unpretentious. It’s not difficult to understand why it’s always busy. Has been a personal favourite for years and hopefully will continue to be so.
Atmosphere and service were amazing. Food; out of this world. Try the crab to start and the passion fruit creme brûlée is the best you will ever taste!
Amazing amazing evening! The food was gorgeous and the staff could not do enough! Such a wonderful atmosphere. Sad we didn't get our waitresses name as would love to thank her personally! Crispy duck salad was phenomenal! We will be back
1st time we've ever eaten in a posh restaurant, made welcome from start to finish. Never felt out of place. The food was amazing and at a reasonable price if we ever in london again we will definitely return (extra two stars as 5 isnt enough)
This is my first visit to London. We are staying in the neighborhood and "restaurant hopped" lasted night; one cocktail and appetizer at the bar per stop.
The chargrilled octopus was fantastic.
We noticed the host greeting guests as they arrived. He greeted everyone as if they were walking into his home. We were very impressed.
Well done!!
Still trendy after nearly 60 years, and the stars still like it...Morgan Freeman was at the next table when I was last there. But the service was slow on a Sunday evening, and my wife's halibut rather overcooked.
Overall I had a very good day and lunch there.... on this note just a piece of advise to your waiters and what not to say to a client that just sat at the table. When I asked how are you? And on trying to be friendly I said that you all look pretty busy, it was very unprofessional to tell me :” oh yes we are busy but we have a big party later, so you all have to leave soon”.
I booked for my lunch at 1:45 on Sunday and to be told (in between the line), I have to hurry up even before I was ready to order was not the best intro line!
