I've been twice, the food is great, the atmosphere is great, and the staff are great, really helpful and friendly. If l lived in South Kensington, l'd be in there every week.

Always come here when going to the V&A, it's an amazing place to have breakfast. I'd recommend the almond croissants, delicious!

A pretty good steak and ale stew, very tasty cheesecake (fresh even though it's evening already) and a really large, and I mean LARGE, cappuccino ^_^

Super cafe. We had a lovely lunch sitting outside watching the world go by. Staff polite and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Prime location close to the V&A museum. Nice place, appropriate service, bon pâtisserie and a delicious Gazpacho soup

Lovely place been there 3 times is one week, we'll that says it all doesn't it. Love the place staff could be a bit more friendlier and it doesn't cost them anything to put a smile on their dial. Food very tasty and tastes homely as if it came out if my kitchen. Very Happy

Nice Concept, poor service

User

Microwaved eggs and tasteless soggy mushrooms ... ok but thought would be better.

Good service. Prosecco went down a treat, and I'm clearly a millennial as I had avocado toast. The food is tasty and healthy, so a good place for a light lunch.

Anywhere that uses digital order pads I believe is on its way down, staff are mechanical with their politeness and the food is on par with macdonalds, not a lot of taste but fills the gap .

Would not come back here. The waitress we had was rude and never looked at us when ordering and making payment. I paid by card n held out my hand and the waitress slammed the card on the table and walked off without any acknowledgement, thank you, bye...

I ordered three items whilst on the premises... none of which they had. One being a glass of tap water in addition to my juice. No juice... fair enough, it been a busy hot day outside. No tap water because....

... they've run out glasses. Sorry, excuse me?... sorry we've run out of glasses!

Ordered egg and avocado on toast.... don't have that either..... shall I just quit whilst I'm ahead?!

The food and the coffee were great, service? not so much.

Yesterday I went to this branch as I was looking for something vegan to eat as I am vegan. I order the ORGANIC BAKER'S BASKET which on the menu has a carrot on it, therefore 100% vegan. When the basket came it had butter in it and also the peanut butter had milk. When I complaint to the waiter and manager, they both said that it was basically my fault as of course they always include butter but that only the bread is vegan. I explained that how can I know that is partly vegan when in the menu it says 100% vegan (with the carrot symbol on the dish name). They offered me a vegan cake which they brought and told me that they were not going to charge for the bread which was good and I appreciated that but the one star is because they made me feel very bad the whole time. Not only they told me that it was the very first ever to complain but the waiters whispered to each other and looked at me all the time as if I was the "crazy person" asking for something that I shouldn't and that "annoying customer". Basically all the staff by then knew about my issue as they all looked at me all the time which made me feel very uncomfortable. When the bill came, I asked if they were going to throw the bread away (there were loads left of course) and they said yes. As I hate food waste I asked if they would give it to me as I can't believe that would throw one entire basket of bread. The waiter came and said of course we are going to throw it away but you didn't pay for it, therefore no, you can't take it with a non friendly tone which made me feel even more uncomfortable. I explained that I was just after the waste and not getting anything for free but at that stage it was so obvious that I had annoyed them so much that they preferred to throw the food away to the bin than giving it to me which I was not planning to eat but giving it to a homeless person. Very unpleasant experience and it is needless to say that the company does not cater or like vegans and neither the staff. Very bad one for me.
