We took our son to watchman stickman on Saturday, nice cosy theatre, friendly staff - and the show .... simply amazing, my son is almost 4, he was completely entertained and laughed during many points in the show ! Parents too
This is my favourite venue for Comedy. It now gets extra credit for ace customer service. I left my phone after a gig last Saturday. My friend text my phone and received a reply from a friendly member of staff at the theatre, informing him that my phone had been left at the venue and providing a contact email address. My friend shared this with me. Phone posted back (free and carefully wrapped) on Monday and received today! Thank you!
Thank you SO much for all your help yesterday with my friend who couldnt walk due to her injury. Your staff was so friendly and helpful, took care of her the whole time. Your employee (sorry I dont know his name) even accompanied us after the show the whole way back to the stars and sat her into a cab.
You made it possible we could see the show at all! Thanks a lot!
Super charming production, brilliant actors, loads of laughs and cheer. Loved it!
Saw Frankie Boyle last night, great show, great atmosphere and venue, drinks are pricey but it's London so not really surprised! All in all a great time.
Perfect boutique theatre for all sorts of enjoyment.
Tiddler show for my 4yr old was a first class act with inspiring performers who really did a great job.
Will definitely be back.
Not even been yet, but best online service I’ve ever experienced. Becky is a star.
I Love This Theatre,Quirky,Comfortable, always good shows...Great Prices
All of The Staff are Fantastic, from Box Office,Security, Bar Staff & Stewards...nothing fazes them and they can't do enough for you...I can't stop coming to this place...back in November for Joe Longthorne, and looking at other stuff, before that.
An amazing relatively small theatre, some strange seating but as more for stand up guess they are good to view from the side. If you are tall try to get an aisle seat as leg room is not great.
A short Shakespeare comical play, whereby one member of the cast is pissed- what unfolds can be anybody’s guess.
This was a breath of fresh air to comedy, or at least alcohol fuelled fumed- dependant upon how close you sit to the stage!
The theatre is easy walking distance from Leicester Square tube.
Staff were friendly. Bar on the lower ground floor as was the main house- both serving alcohol and soft drinks, reasonably priced for the location.
Recommend 5*
We watched Tiddler and Other Tales yesterday and the production was excellent and the venue was the perfect size for that kind of show. However it looses marks because there is very little space between rows of seats, which causes problems when you want to take a little one to the toilet mid show or even getting into your seat isn't easy. also the toilets are very dated. Finally, and this may be a show specific thing, but the merchandise available was of a very cheap standard for a very high price. £5 for a cut out paper fish on a sick that was very flimsy and fell apart shortly afterwards does not represent anything like value.
We came to see Julia Donaldson actually perform/interpret her own books .. loved it .. only complaint toilet size .. just no room to move especially as you & child need to be in a cubicle!!
Really nice and more importantly intimate theatre. Only heard about it recently but after seeing who's coming up, I'd be very tempted to come back again soon. Low prices for seeing top quality shows and I think every seat would be decent. Only issue you'd have is that because it's all on the same level is of you were stuck behind some giant person....but that's the luck of the draw I guess. Overall, Great venue!
Nice theatre, very small but that's helps give a nice intimate atmosphere. Has three small bars that are pretty well stocked. Seats are clean and comfortable with a good view of stage.
Theatre is a little old and maybe some modernisation wouldn't go a miss, however i always think the inprotant thing is the actual act your seeing. Would definitely recommend here tho.
Very small, I was sat in A18 (first row) and there is not enough legroom for tall people and you can't really see proparly the stage.
The smallest toilets ever. Had to wait in the cubicle for the woman to finish washing her hands as I couldn't get out of my cubicle to wash mine.
Little flies all around in the theatre. All stall seats flat so not great for viewing such a small stage. Bar in the theatre area though which was good.
Pam Anne was as usual, hysterical, it was an incredible night ( thank you Pam ) the theatre is poorly managed, poor bar service, no iterval pre orders allowed, bars closing early . They could have taken another £100 of me as it was a special occasion and I wanted champagne alas no. So we went else where and spent it behind their bar. Sad really
Intimate theatre with an interesting programme. Comfortable seats with decent legroom, especially if you get one where the row kinks which also means a double armrest on one side. No rake to speak of so if you've got someone tall in front of you or even worse big hair you're stuffed. Bars in the auditorium itself plus one outside with quick and friendly service however the choice of beer is stuck in the last decade - you'd expect a fringe-type venue to have at least one ale or craft beer available but it's just a choice of Stella or Bud. Seriously!? Tiny toilets but they just about cope.
*****You must book the tickets with the names that only match ID******. No need to turn up well before because you will end up waiting in the queue for no reason. Frankie was good.
