Was a great experience for both me and my daughter yesterday for her first competition in the centre. Well equipped and very organised competition. Must say would have liked to have the shop open too...but I suppose on a Sunday it closed understandably... Perhaps keep in mind on a competition day it might worth it keep it open as some of the younger, keen fencers might want to have a look and take a "souvenir" away with them...

Took my 12yr old son to a beginners class. He loves it. What's more the facilities and staff look top class. 5

Today hosted three tournaments in one day, out the hall by 6pm! Amazing. Well done!

User

Thanks to Leon Paul for such a fantastic venue - now we are all spoilt ! Eleanor loves the place as it now has a place in her heart especially after wining Gold in the Under 9

Thanks for all your help and advice this morning :-) Cx

User

Thank you Leon Paul fencing centre for a fantastic camp this week.

User

Since I've been regularly training at the LPC I've had several surprisingly good results, including qualifying for my first World Championships. I am able to train when I want to, rather than having to train during the limited days and hours other clubs are able to offer.

User

Just as many say below. The Leon Paul fencing centre is as good as it gets.

The staff go that extra step to help you with any problem, concerns or advice.

From professional Team GB fencers down to a 6yr old beginner train and learn there. Because the facilities are the best, from the electrical integrated pistes, to the changing rooms and toilets.

The fencing clubs that Leon Paul run support any and all standards of fencer. The coaches in all weapons are world beaters. As a Fencer, you are in the most supportive and experienced hands in the business.

It was great to have so many lanes for fencers to use.

From a spectators point of view and fencers , it was great to have the electronics lights and score boards hanging by the lanes , for all to see. It was a comfortable first visit as a spectator, and as a competitor the feedback is that it's a great place and wants to return .

I fenced at the Leon Paul fencing center for the first time tonight and the facility is top notch. There's an abundance of strips so multiple groups of fencers can train at the same time. There's an armorers bench at the back, along with training equipment. Many of the strips light up when you get a touch, and there are multiple lights at the back of the pistes that change colors based on who made the touch. There are scoreboards that hang from the ceiling, and all of the wiring is built into the facility.

Leon Paul went to extreme lengths to make this facility one of the best training centers in the world, and they succeeded. If you are a fencer traveling to London, I highly recommend bringing your equipment and dropping by Tuesday or Thursday for one of their open sessions. This venue is worth the visit.

Had a great experience at Leon Paul. The store has everything you need (and more) and the attendants are very nice and helpful and know what their job! Excellent quality materials.

The training center upstairs is top notch! Competition ran very smoothly, advanced equipment, professional support team and what not. Just wish they ran a school there!

User

Great day and experience at tutor training. fantastic facilities and great people working with us throughout the day.

User

Great centre ,excellent stuff -very friendly and polite

User

Fantastic ..Well run and organised ..Friendly as well ..

User

Excellent service provided even though it was well after closing time when I finally left (!) This was my only chance to get what I needed.

You really saved my day and put me in a good mood! And besides: the equipment is great too ;)

I wish you guys the "Merriest of Christmases"!

User

Excellent service and very friendly.

Very nice place.

User

Excellent International Summer Camp, followed by a really well organised Foil Competition. Both my children found the experience exhilarating. Superb ratio of coaches to fencers, all of whom were at the top of their game.

User

Attended for a competition. Great on site store with helpful staff. The fencing takes place upstairs where there are a number of electronic pistes complete with floor lighting, electronic score boards and wall lights. Great storage for kit bags, seating area for spectators, with drinks and confectionary machines. The toilets and shower rooms are of a high standard, though the dressing room is a bit small. The floor is accessed via a staircase stairs or a lift for those that need it. There are a few parking spaces directly outside, but on competition days you will need to utilise the surrounding area. Overall, an outstanding venue.

User

Always a pleasure to attend competitions at the Leon Paul Fencing - it's so 'Disco' !

Slick, functional, well designed venue and a great place to catch up with others. The athletes get an authentic experience of what's to come in the future, should their fencing journey continue to an Olympics or two
