Lilac Cottage Bed & Breakfast Description
Billy and I offer you a warm welcome to Anglesey and our home at Lilac Cottage, a renovated cottage overlooking the Menai Straits. The location is fabulous whatever the weather and we are on the doorstep for Beaumaris and Menai Bridge. Snowdonia mountain range is within 20 minutes drive away, along with the Ogwen Valley for stunning walking experiences.
Our "upside down" cottage is laid out with the lounge, guest bedroom and bathroom on the first floor to take advantage of the breathtaking views. The kitchen and our living area is on the ground floor, allowing our guests to relax and enjoy the break upstairs without too much intrusion.
The guest double bedroom is airy and offers more of the view over the Menai Straits. The bathroom, of which you will have exclusive use, boasts heated floor, a deep bath and relaxing shower.
Breakfast is offered and will be served in the lounge, in front of our floor to ceiling glass doors or on the balcony in fine weather.
We are ideally situated for exploring the North Wales coastline including Anglesey.

Half a mile from us we have ..Plas Cadnant's Hidden Gardens are opening for snowdrops on Sundays and Wednesdays in Feb and March. Just outside Menai Bridge. 12.00-4.00 Bit of a treat at this time of year. And a nice tea cafe. Highly recommended.

Not a great day today weather wise for people visiting the area, but we managed to get a walk up to Aber Falls which is always beautiful

Well where do I start the views from both the lounge and bedroom were amazing
The breakfast was second to none all freshly sourced from the local butcher
The fresh fruit and cereal with yogurt was fantastic
The accommodation is upstairs and you have use of the bathroom bedrooms and lounge, the owner is a lovely lady called Judith with her Husband William , they make you feel extremely welcome but you are left alone to use all facilities to your leisure
They have two bedrooms but only book out both to families or friends
So you can have absolute privacy in the top of the cottage
Breakfast is served in the lounge next to the window, on a nice sunny day you can have it on the balcony looking at the fabulous Menai straits and Bangor pier .
We will definitely return as I can’t recommend it enough.

Excellent service, very friendly and helpful hosts. We came for a zipline activity which was postponed, and the host very kindly accepted to move our stay dates. The property is modern and perfectly clean, beautiful views and comfortable to stay in. Breakfast was just amazing, very well prepared and presented. We couldn't find any negative things to say about this BnB, and would definitely recommend it !
