Stinky pup? Hot & bothered woofer? Here's our guide to bathing your four pawed friend...
• Make sure you have plenty of time and aren’t rushing🐾 • Take your dog for a walk beforehand so that they are nice and tired and less likely to wriggle in the bath 🐾 • Have everything that you’ll need to hand – towels, shampoo, water, (treats!) and any sponges you need to use🐾... • Use specialised dog shampoo, not human shampoo, as dog shampoo has a pH that is good for your dog’s skin and won’t dry it out🐾 • Depending on your dog’s size you can bath them in a baby bath, regular bath, shower or the sink🐾 • Ask a friend to help - two people are better than one when it comes to bathing a dog🐾 • Wet your dog completely and then start shampooing from the neck down, going towards the back and tail🐾 • Finally rinse your dog thoroughly to ensure that every trace of shampoo is removed (if its left on the skin it can cause irritation and drying), then use towels and a hair drier (on a cool setting) to dry them off 🐾 • Choosing a hot day for dog bathing is a good idea because your furry friend can quickly dry in the sun🐾

Your cat’s weight is a good guide to how they are feeling and to how healthy they are. Here's little bit of info from our expert feline friends...
Along with regular weigh-ins at your vets, signs that your cat may be losing weight or unwell include; feeling lighter when you pick them up, having a variable appetite, vomiting or regurgitating their food or having lose stools or diarrhoea. Other signs that your whisker licker may be unwell include; having less energy than norma...l and not moving about or going to their usual places, any change in their daily routine, not wanting to be touched or stroked or any change to their usual behaviour.
Poor dental health can be another common cause for weight loss in cats, especially in elderly moggies. If your cat is losing weight and also dribbling, drooling, dropping food, pawing at their mouth or generally seem to have halitosis and problems eating – then they may well be suffering from dental disease. This can be easily treated once you've popped your pussycat along to the vet.
The earlier that weight loss is recognised in your cat, the sooner that you can find out the cause for it and the sooner that you can hopefully start to reverse it.

Hi, I'm Pumpkin, one of little Willow's pups. I'm in Normandy at Cap De La Hague.... What a place to have my Lily's Kitchen breakfast with my mum. We both thought it was yummy as you can see. We went for a lovely walk afterwards round the cliffs. Since I came off my mum's milk I have been on Lily's Kitchen food and I have never been sick or had the runs.
