A great video of 24 hours using nothing but the Mark 1 Survival Kit out in the woods in the UK.
As ever, it requires a little ingenuity and thought, but it absolutely can be done. Try doing 24 hours with a "survival kit" made up of cheap nick nacks that serve no real purpose. Aint gonna to happen.

Just received the first prototype of the SuperTarp based on the MLD Trailstar. This ones been made to check sizing, measurements and so on and begin to fix problems before manufacturing a really excellent product. There are some problems here of course - in particular over aggressive cat curves on the base of each triangle. Most main issues will be fixed and we will get prototype Version 2 in a few more weeks. The final version will not be blue ;-) this is the spare fabric we... had on hand. We willl release an olive brown colour when we are ready to rock. Let me know what you think ;-)

Another prototype being reiterated currently - is the SuperTarp. Our Pentagon shape based Tarp Tent system that is under development. It's going to be awesome. Really.
We have taken the Mountain Laurel Designs idea of a pentagonal tarp and added various bits and bobs normally found in custom builds with multi-week waiting times. The final fabric is still being decided upon - for the prototypes we are using a cheaper silnylon to check quality control, stitching integrity and -... importantly see if our manufacturers can cut a catenary curve on each of the sections properly... You can check out the general idea of what we are doing in the images (just to whet the appetite).
The only color will be brown / tan, and we are doing 2 inners - one solo inner, and one for a couple. The inners will come a month or so after the outer is available on the market. The outer can, of course, be used independently.
I'll update you as we go with the project. Let me know if you have any ideas and thoughts on making this ;-)
