So - this is it. Our last day. We had an AMAZING night last night, thank you to all those that came.
As most of you know, we LOVE a karaoke, so tonight, for the last time, we have bobby and sandy back for a karaoke night. We know a lot of you have work etc but if you’re able to pop in for a bit that would be awesome. When the doors close tonight, that will be it.

It's our last Saturday night and we're seeing it off in style! RED MECCA are our last ever band, and as anyone who's seen them before will tell you, they are FABULOUS! Lots of stock to get rid of! We hope all those that have supported us over the years can make it. Xx
We're also having a karaoke on the Sunday night as its our last day of trading. xx

As many of you may have heard, a few weeks ago we officially handed in our notice to the landlord, there has been a lot of rumours floating around so we would like to set the record straight: we’re not bankrupt, we’re not on our knees - we’re just tired, it’s no longer something we enjoy doing and along with health issues, we’ve simply decided to move on. We told the landlord that we would stay here as long as it took to find another tenant and as of yesterday, we have been i...nformed one has been found. We have a leaving date.
That being said:
Our last day of trading here will be Sunday the 13th of May. When the doors close that night it will be the last time under us.
That can only mean one thing:
WE’RE HAVING A PARTY!
Our official leaving party will be on Saturday the 12th of May, the band we have on just so happens to be a Pub favourite - RED MECCA. Expect lots of fun and frolics.
On the Sunday (our last day of trading), we’re going out with something we personally enjoy - Karaoke.
We would love it if all those that have supported us over the years we’re able to make it.
Until then we still have two more Saturdays:
Tomorrow night we have Cut Loose And next Saturday we have Rock Garden
Carverys will still be available on Sundays, and the Hogz menu will still be running Friday and Saturday nights.
We will post a final farewell nearer the time.

This Saturday we have WITHOUT MOTIFF playing live. They are an awesome band that we only managed to get for a single gig last year due to their popular demand. The lead singer used to be the lead singer for Georgia Falls but moved on and set up another band. It’s going to be a fantastic night. Music starts at 9pm - LATE.
On top of that, come along a little earlier and grab a bargain - ALL pints and alcopops are just £2 each between 8-9pm. It’s our early bird special 😝

the food was great stuff was helpful

We rung at short notice asking if we could have a table for 10 and bring along our 2 dogs. We were seated in the bar area and could not fault the service. The dogs were provided with water instantly and our meals were delivered quickly. We all enjoyed the food and the dogs loved the attention they were given.

We just had our wedding reception here! Words can't describe what an amazing day it was! Jennie and the staff went above and beyond, the food was delicious and the bar staff where incredibly friendly and helpful! Our day was made absolutely magical by all the wonderful staff and beautifully decorated venue! We can't thank you enough!

We had a carvery there were 13 of us Easter Sunday it was a superb meal food piping hot and the staff courteous and very accommodating and would recommend this to anyone in a heartbeat

On the 29/9/2015 me and my family had a lovely meal and a table booked for 10 the food was outstanding and a menu with a wide range of excellent food to chose from and a lovely friendly atmosphere and the entertainment on week ends at night times can't be missed well recommend

Having heard some not so positive comments we decided to give this place a try anyway, honestly I was impressed, the food was prompt and as it should be, my wife even got her drinks for free as it was her birthday, the 2 different styles of burger were cooked to perfection, our 7 yr old had fried chicken and chips from the adult menu and eat the lot.

Heartily recommend this place.

Found this on our last night in lowestoft, kids enjoyed the pool table, music and darts. We were happy we could take the dog in. Nice selection of non alcoholic beer. Nice lagers too! We went back the next day before setting off home. Staff were lovely on both occasions. Enjoyed a nice lunch there. Prices were a bit steep but it is a seaside town pub. Will more than likely see you next summer!

First time at livingstones tonight and I couldn't recommend it enough I had the 10oz ribeye steak and it was cooked to perfection the staff are amazing. Defiantly worth a visit for a meal if you are in kessingland area.

Celebrated my daughters christening here today in the function room. We had asked for a hot buffet, and the food we were given was amazing. A wide selection of hot and cold foods all very tasty and definitely all home made. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Couldn't do enough for us. Would recommend a function here to anybody. We are back in September for our wedding!!

Went up for the kids Xmas party to meet Santa Mrs Claus the elves and the reindeer there was also a kids disco ...kids loved ran wild for 3 hours the elves happily talked about the reindeer but the absolute highlight was santa and Mrs Claus...in my opinion he was the real deal never have I seen a more authentic couple their demeanour with the kids was adorable and what you want the bell of truth was a great touch amd even my 12 year old came away beaming...thank you Santa for giving your time at such a busy period

Went for the carvery last Sunday, wasnt sure what to expect. We weren't disappointed! Fresh veg and the beef was beautiful. We will definitely be back. The only criticism I have is that the staff could be a bit more attentive, we felt as if we were waiting around quite a bit before our orders were taken and waiting between courses. Don't get me wrong the staff were very friendly but a bit more efficency, would be good. Looking forward to our next visit.

Three of us went for a meal as the American theme appealed to us.

It was very quiet with only us and one other family which is a shame. I don’t like seeing pubs quiet. Hopefully it’s because we’re just outside of season.

As a result though, the order was taken quickly and the food was really good. The chips were delicious and cooked to perfection in clean oil.

Beth, who served us provided excellent service.

We’d definitely revisit when we’re in the area again �

Had a great evening Saturday, not usually a place I frequent, but the bar staff were friendly, great atmosphere, and the punters were alright too :).... Going back for fireworks next week.... This place has a park out back too (which I never knew) ideal for the little ones

First time here was very impressed with the carvery and Paul who served us will go again definitely

Went to Livingstones last night for a birthday meal and the food was ok just very large portions and slightly over priced. The staff that were working were over stretched and food came out wrong as they were so busy. Couldn't fault the food itself or the staff as I know it's not their fault.

Had a good night at kids Halloween party although think it would have been better in function room as far far too many in there,maybe tickets next year so u can control how many come if b happy to pay :-)

Food was nice, maybe think about producing some proper menus
