This week is National Obesity Awareness Week.
In 2014 62% of adults in England were classified as overweight (a body mass index of 25 or above) or obese, compared to 53% 20 years earlier. More than two-thirds of men and almost six in 10 women are overweight or obese.

Great team and excellent atmosphere

Friendly, professional, clean.

Everything you need!

Bit small but has good equipment and is clean with friendly staff. have been going for years and still love it.

A week or so ago the pool was closed for health and safely reasons, the staff called my wife on the day of the event to let us know that it would be closed during the time that we would normally come in. The quality of service and level of care exhibited by the staff is second to none.

Lovely friendly place, I really enjoy being a member here.

It’s difficult to have an adult swim most of the time because it is so packed, I have to try and go at 7am just to get a decent swim. I asked a member of staff today if a small one person lane could be put in the pool because it was quite busy with kids and parents who weren’t being very considerate that I was trying to do lengths, but it wasn’t possible. I left rather unhappy as there would have still been plenty of room for everyone else and I could have done my lengths without disturbing anyone and vice versa.

Otherwise, the place is ok - towels provided and plenty of free parking. It’s just a shame that the more oversubscribed it gets, the less pleasant each visit becomes.
