Yummy food nice cocktails beautiful deco great service

Wonderful setting and deco, cocktails on arrival, elegantly presented, not seen or tasted anything like this in London! Big statement since am the biggest critic. Dabbled in to the tapas menu with an excellent selection, the Celery Prawns were a big hit, execution was perfect, taste, spices and temperature. Didn’t have much space for desserts, certainly bringing the team here, and heard about Vijays Lounge on the first floor. I simply can’t Wait!!!

We had dinner here - a party of 18 people for a birthday! The food was really delicious and we were really looked after. Also had a pre-dinner drink up in the bar where staff were friendly and attentive. Will definitely be going back.

We decided to go for drinks tonight. It's a very friendly place...We were treated to some unusual & Delicious Cocktails�����. I was delighted with both mine. It had a twist to both of them.

The barman Mario was very Friendly, Polite, Accommodating & very job proud.Met one of the Chefs too.! JD also very friendly together with the manager Navin. ..Dharmish listened my lovely comments about Lokhandwala.Can't wait to go back for the street food !����

The atmosphere in Lokhandwala is definitely unique. Good music, original decorations, service on point! And food... Omg, so delicious! Alongside a cocktail made by those talented bartenders it tastes even better. 5/5 with no doubts!

Lokhandwala is our favourite place to eat whenever we get a chance to visit London. Absolutely love the decor and vibe of this place. Fabulous food and service with a smile! We've tried so many of the dishes on the menu and one of our favourites is the bakes poppadum and relish; this is simply a must. Choice of mains is vast too, with dishes which are all unique in their own way and with the special Lokhandwala twist. And yes this is one restaurant where the deserts are heavenly, our absolute favourite being the Gajar Halwa Tart. Love the various fantastic range of smoothies and cocktails they do in the bar, there are some exciting concoctions on offer with interesting ingredients. We always get a warm welcome here and are well looked after by the wonderful attentive staff and their service is second to none. Can't wait for our next visit!

Absolutely amazing food, great service and beautiful wines! As a starter they have the so called bakes, veggie crisps with 3 dips, I wish I could have these every evening in front of the TV. They should sell in to Odeon theatres! The selery prawns are out of this world, the Indian tacos? Amazing! And then nicely priced as well! Go!

Really beautiful decor, great customer service and innovative menu but trying a bit too hard with most dishes I think. Absolutely loved the Achaari Asparagus, Shepherds Pie and most of all.... the Rabri dessert... to die for!

Our food was tasty, especially the paneer curry. Portions are on the small side.

If you go for lunch, note a lunch menu may be advertised on their website, but it might not be available. I was told this was due to "menu change".

The whiskey cocktail my friend had was lovely, but my Herbalist drink lacked the promised rose and cucumber aromas.

Service was friendly and prompt.

The food was tasty but the service was pretty poor and they didn't bring our rice with the meal. They proceeded to ask if we wanted it on its own afterwards! Then added 12.5% service (without stating that it was optional) to the bill which, under the circumstances, was definitely not deserved. We are really good tippers and would have still 'chosen' to tip but this forced service means I certainly will not go back or recommend.

Poor service. Waited 50 minutes for our food plates to be cleared. Not asked if we wanted more drinks etc. Shame, I was a huge fan before tonight �

Worst experience of my life. My party of 4 had a reservation for 10:30pm on a Friday night. We showed up a few minutes early and were seated. The waiter served us water and gave us menus... after ten minutes he came to our table and told us that the kitchen is closed and we cannot order. I was very confused, because the table right next to us was seated within a few minutes and they had been able to order. Anyhow, we were all upset considering our reservation was for 10:30 and you can actually make a reservation as late as 11:30pm. One of my dinner companions began speaking with the waiter (Named Mario) and asked for a manager, which we were told was not available. The conversation got understandably heated, however Mario the waiter SPAT at my friend. Who does that, much less at a restaurant?! Who knows what they do with the food if they are willing to spit on their customers. Everyone in the restaurant was watching this disturbing scene unfold, personally if I was a spectator I would have been extremely uncomfortable. After this very unpleasant exchange we needed a drink and settled at a nearby bar, after some time the table that was sitting next to us had finished their meal and approached us to share that they had an awful experience too and had no intention of coming back. They also told us that the restaurant owner was downstairs the entire time... which was just a cherry on top of the cake. I could not believe the owner did nothing about his employee literally SPITTING on my friend. London is full of amazing restaurants, this is not one of them.

It was my birthday celebration and the table was booked for 8people at 9:15pmwhich we didn't get until 9:45pm for the simple reason that our table was given to someone else and they made us wait and order food . When we got to the table our food started coming in one at a time and considering the portion size we couldn't share it either . I was appauled as no one bothered to check with us if we like to order anything before the kitchen closes . The orders were messed up . We were offered fre desserts and shots but that's not the point . It was my bday night and the restaurant treated it to be a canteen where you don't enjoy the food and ambience but go to eat food and get out. Sorry but will never recommend this place to anyone .
