really enjoyed my stay at London backpackers. looking forward to go back next week. Really friendly staff whom are more than willing to help you if you have any issues. clean tidy lounge area to relax in.

Very good location, nice, safe, clean and quiet area close to the tube station, clean rooms and showers and a well equiped kitchen, where you can have your meal in a good atmosphere with other backpackers from different countries like you (by the way, breakfast is free of charge). The staff is very helpful, easy going, warm, professional and just know what they are doing, and do it good. Overall a decent price for what you get and it's worth it. I strongly recommend this hostel, either it is for a short stay or for a long one.

This is the second time I've been to this place. What can I say? Perfect location (1 min- you just cross the road- walk to Hendon Central tube station, friendly staff ( one of the guys at the reception greeted me saying: " It is good to see you again", the other recognized me by the face- nothin' bad :), clean toilets, prepare your breakfast 4 yourself and clean up after u have finished eating. Watch out! I am gonna be back soon!

This is the best hostel I've stayed at. No curfew, no stupid rules and everyone is very sociable.It's in a safe neighbourhood and the Tube station is across the street. There's tons of movies to watch if you just want to chill, there's even a park nearby with tennis courts and exercise equipment. They have a pool table in the Basement Party area and lots of board games. There's power points and usb sockets on every bed as well as a light and curtains. The Hostel is clean with a Kitchen to cook in and they even have a good free breakfast. The staff are really great but Alice Jane is not as funny as she thinks she is. Definitely worth staying at and cheaper than most Hostels in London.

Stayed here when I came to wrestle in Croydon, very welcoming people, came, wrestled, left, came back two days later ...... The place is well looked after, the kitchen is great for preparing your own meals which is a god send when your also competing in a bodybuilding composition, not many other hostels offer this service. The place is cleaned everyday, not just started but well looked after, staff are happy to change begging for you whenever you request if your a long term guest. Breakfast is included in your room rate!!! No trouble here as management have zero tolerance for that, making this a very good place to be. Book in here!!!

Safe, fun, people are friendly, has a great social scene, clean, you will meet lots of people from lots of backgrounds and cultures just go to the games room or kitchen and you will meet some cool people, lots of shops just across the road and it is right next to the underground station and also bus stops.. The beds have lighting and plugs including a usb socket. There is a beautiful park next to the backpackers where you can relax, go for a stroll, play tennis/soccer or do some exercise.



I would give it 10 stars if I could.

London Backpackers is the right choice if you're looking for a nice and coozy place to stay for short/long time.

Prices are competitive and breakfast is included and served everyday with a nice rate of choice, so if you're a porridge or milk lover don't worry you will find what you like.

If you want a nice and clean place all you need to know is that every rooms and bathrooms are cleaned everyday with deep cleanings schedule once a week for each room.

The common area is fully furnished with a full working kitchen wich includes pans, pots and plates so you can cook your own stuff, in the same area laundry place is provided to wash and dry your clothes.

If you need help just give a shout to the staff or straight to one of the receptionists, everybody are always ready to help you.

It's even a safe place, violence and abuses are not tollerated and every cases are punished with a permanent ban straight away.

I've been there for five months before moving, I met nice people and made such nice friends and had so much good times.

London Backpackers is a fantastic hostel located in a great location. We were two people and stayed in a twin room. The staff wad always helpful and friendly, and they are all knowledgeable about London and surrounding areas. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and the included breakfast, while simple, was exactly what we needed. The additional perks of free SIM cards, free and reliable Wi-Fi, and adaptors for purchase were great. We would stay here again for sure.

London Backpackers has been my home for 3 months when I first arrived in London.

This is definitely the best hostel I've ever stayed at:



Staff is absolutely great- kind, funny, helpful and always ready to cheer you up (I've been a real pain in the arse for 3 long months).



Rooms are very clean, bathrooms spot on and no curfew!



Location is brilliant: literally 1 min walking to Hendon Central station(northern line-20 min away to the center).



Breakfast is delicious and has a great choice for sweet and savoury taste.



I would definitely recommend it to any Backpacker who wants to visit London!.

Lived here for several months in 2014!London backpackers is in a nice area of North London, on zone three of the tube from central, so not too far out of the central, the rooms are great, good bathrooms with brilliant hot water and pressure! Kick ass basement with TV and pool table, great for parties! Kitchen with everything you need and reception with free internet! Staff are great and helpful, the owner is a character, if you like witty Londonesque sarcasm and humour you know he likes ya! Met some great people here, who turned out to be life long friends so thanks to this place for making it a memorable year!!!

I stayed here many times and for quite long each time! What can I say? Clean and safe, beautiful atmosphere, yummy breakfast, they've got all you need, just ask for it. Staff has always been professional, helpful, nice and cool. I've had so much fun here I can't even explain! I would totally raccomand it!!

I stayed at this hostel on and off for two years when I was traveling and working in London. It's the perfect place to land, easy access to the tube (and night bus), really reasonably priced, loads of amenities in easy walking distance and the ability to sort out your own food etc. It's got a great mix of longer term stayers and people there for a few nights. Plenty of room options and great common areas. Staff great Highly recommend!

Backpackers for about 6 months. I met so many great people at this place and just had a great time. The hostel is quite good located and still the cheapest you can get around and has everything you need. It doesn't matter if you stay for a while or just a couple of days, London Backpackers is the best place you can get. Thanks for these awesome adventure.

I spent 4 months in total at the hostel (April-may 2013 and October-November 2014) and they were absolutely great. Staff were super nice and ready to help but more than anything they became friends. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming: there is always somebody to have a chat with. The bed was clean and provided with sockets, light, cage for the luggage and curtains. Also lockers were available. Breakfasts was more than satisfactory: cereals, tea, coffe, juice, bread, cheese, etc. and it was included in the price which is low compared to other hostels in London. Very well connected since it is located on the other side of Hendon Tube station and near the bus stop (one bus running 24h).

An AMAZING experience being there and definitely the hostel I will choose in case I will go back to London for a visit.

I have been to London four times and I have chosen London Backpackers to find them by chance and the truth that the experience has been great are very good people, they help you in any way they can, the facilities are very clean, metro and 25 minutes from the heart of London ... I think back is a brilliant hostel

I had the pleasure to stay at London Backpackers for over six months. Although it has been a while since I last visited this vibrant place, the memories of camaraderie and friendship I enjoyed while staying there are still fresh in my mind. Just like old people love reminiscing about times of their youth and vigor, so I do pine for those happy times I had in the hostel. Make no mistake this place breathes positive energy and radiates warmth. If you feel tired of life or down on your luck, pack up your bags and head for London Backpackers. The place is bound to brighten up your mood and reignite passion for life again. You will meet some incredible people from all over the world and may well gain fresh new perspective on lots of things in your life.

Great hostel, Friendly staff keep the place very clean breakfast is free and every bed has its own USB chargers and power points as well as curtains for privacy and cages to store your gear for free. In a safe neighborhood right over the road from the tube station. stacks of movies on hand and book exchange make it easy to relax and there is a park with exercise equipment down the road for anyone more active than myself. I have stayed here every time I've been to London and will keep coming back for the staff and the atmosphere.

Great hostel! Perfect for all nationalities. I planned on being in the hostel short term until I found my feet then stayed for 9 months before travelling back home. Everything is cleaned regularly and everyone is encouraged to clean up after themselves. The owner is a good bloke and will do whatever can to help you out and make the stay worthwhile. Highly recommend.

Fantastic hostel with really friendly and helpful staff and great comfortable beds with privacy curtains / charging points / reading lightz. 1 min walk from station and from a great London park. Only stayed for a few days but really good experience and would definitely recommended to anyone.
