my husband and I spent a really nice afternoon there yesterday .there are some great porters and beers and a wide choice of food.

The ambience was great, the service was good and the food was excellent. A good home cooked roast with lovely roasties, fresh Yorkshire pud. Great vegetables and proper gravy. I haven't had a better Sunday roast anywhere. All that - plus two large glasses of wine for £37. I thought it was excellent value.

Love this place, the staff are wonderful, the food and beers are delicious and well-priced, the vibes are good and the place is so welcoming and comfortable I can't bear to leave when I visit. Awesome.

I went for Sunday roast which is such great value. I had pork which was succulent, the veg were lovely, potatoes just right. However, the real star of the show has to be the delicious gravy, absolutely wonderful. Oh the beers pretty good too �

First class......one of the best real ale experiences in London - quality ales at quality prices.....this has to be one of the cheapest ale houses in the UK...let alone London.

The extremely knowledgeable person in charge (sorry young man I forgot your name ) was also very personable....and the regulars I met were a great bunch as well.

My first ever visit and it was a sheer delight.......I will be back.

Feel so lucky this place is so close to where we live! Firstly, the food was out of this world (LOVE being asked if we wanted the burgers medium or well done.) The staff were also so chill, friendly and welcoming. Good beer, good food and good vibes - Can’t wait to come back!

Awesome little boozer! Sells fantastic beers and great food. And the good service and friendly came with the package. If you haven't been, my only question is why not? (People in other countries excluded)

Always try visit LBD few times a week, Great selction of ever changing beers on tap and in bottles. Staff are friendly and helpful.

A great selection of local South East London ales and lagers. And ask for the half pint of pork scratchings.

I could really love this place as a local bar but the (cask) beer quality fluctuates much. As what I believe is still a brewery affiliated/owned establish ment I except much higher standards.

£16 for 2 tiny bottles of Prosecco (14/03). I wasn't given the receipt, thought the waitress had said £6 and have only just seen it on my bank statement! This price can't be right surely. Love some feedback regarding this.
