Camden, London Durga Puja 2018 ŌĆō the one and only destination in London, celebrated 55 glorious years of Durga Puja this year on 17-21 October. Like previous years, London Durgotsav Committee carried the mast during this festive season.
The history of Camden Durga Puja goes back to 1963. It was the first ever Puja in the entire Europe and United Kingdom.

This is our 1st Durga Puja celebration in UK, and honestly speaking after a long time we have enjoyed such a beautiful event after leaving Kolkata.
The colour of Durga Protima is lovely and bit different than as usual.
Feeling good ambience, Different events like Song/Classical dance/Play/Children Events, Crowd, Different foods stallsŌĆ”.ŌĆØ Mainly Chicken LollypopŌĆØ, Rice and Mutton curry, Emotional people, Traditional Bengali dress, Sindur Khela etc. all have given us the same aroma which we missed from KolkataŌĆ”ŌĆ”ŌĆ”ŌĆ”.
Moreover, many thanks and applause to all the committee people whose without enormous engrossment this big event canŌĆÖt be possible.

Very well organized, could do with a bigger venue tbh, didn't appreciate standing in the rain waiting for bouncers to be let in coz there were 900+ people. Don't mind the donations but waiting 30mins in the rain is not nice

One of the oldest Durga Puja of London and probably the most prestigious one. Fantastic ambience brings back all the childhood memories of Kolkata pujo!
It gives people a good place to get together ,an excellent platform to showcase your expertise in cultural aspects,,,,,,,,,,and more.

Extremely efficiently organised. Really have that Kolkata feel and with Ananda da at the helm it is a must visit.
Bengalis in London....Do not miss out on this mandap...Will give u a complete feeling of Kolkata during Durga puja....Hottogol,bheer,bangali khabar and in the background u hear the utterance of 'Ya Devi Sarva Bhuteshu.....'
It's not easy to arrange an event like this so well done to the committee! Maybe there could be better seating arrangements and a less bullish approach when asking for donations at the door though. Just something to bear in mind. But otherwise, I had a great time!
Rude behaviour on arrival. Pushing away devotes at door and telling then there is no space here. Have been apart of this Puja ever since I can remember and it was one of the best in London. Has changed alot for the worst ’┐Į’┐Į
