The only way to get a loan is to have a replacement of the boy and the knife and knife of the burden on the world where he is not compared to the guy he scam It is a home for children and families of the world and the world.

I had a great experience with London City Airport - as I was going through security I realised I'd made a mistake and my luggage was hand luggage and not going in the hold. I'd packed all my wash stuff, shampoo etc. The lovely ladies at security, instead of putting my things in the bin as they could have done, told me where to buy some little bottles and took time out of their day to decant all my toiletries into the little bottle so I could still take all of my things. I really appreciated their help and their time especially as they were to busy! Anyway thank you so much Wendy and Tina for going that extra mile, great customer service!

User

Small but very personal and the staff are excellent. After having a Vueling flight to Gatwick cancelled we were put on a BA flight to London City. Our car was at Gatwick but Karen at customer services went out of her way to get us a tax at a good price. Also passport control was quick and staff very friendly. Would not hesitate using this airport again.

User

Re reviewed, last was also 2 stars. Check in area unfit for purpose, one single flybe desk seemingly dealing with cancellations, rebooking and checking in passengers, which led to a 30 minute wait before being able to check in. As for the rest of the airport, its not laid out well. Get rid of the fancy business desks and just replace with mass seating like everywhere else, so we can actually sit. Finally, restaurant prices are nothing short of extortion, £23 for a burger, and nothing great at that if previous experiences of eating at the airport are anything to go by.

User

How do you justify the quality of your restaurant staff. Empty restaurant I’m waiting for a table and the waitress comes to the check in point three times and then walks away completely ignoring me. Eventually get noticed by someone else and given a table next to the ONLY other table occupied in the whole place with the fattest man in the world leaning so far back his head is hanging over the chair I’m supposed to sit in - walked out. Didn’t say a word- I know you have a captive market but nothing justifies that level of rudeness to a customer. Flown out of here so many times but first tome I used the restaurant and also the last

User

Don’t bother with eating there food in the pilots bar and kitchen is bland and the bacon was like plastic... black pudding just cut and put on the plate not heated at all. Security for a small airport is a joke as well.

User

3 issues:

a) security is over sensitive. I have a cabin bag that I ensure always conforms to requirements, but it gets stopped EVERY TIME. I then have to wait until it is checked, possibly losing valuable time (I once missed my flight because of this).

b) you now charge a £3 surcharge if we use our own choice of cab firm, which has to pick us up in the car park. I don't use black cabs because the drivers won't get off their backsides to help me with luggage ( I have a back condition with a lot of arthritis) and the only private hire firm you offer is not local and costs a lot more than the local Goldline, who, as ex Forest Cars, are Newham's big success story. newham lets you run your airport as you wish. Try putting something back into that community!

c) It seems like the place has been taken over by BA who are using the airport for flights to holiday resorts whilst axing intercity services like the one to Madrid.

User

Someone please tell me what the point of flying from city airport is when you wait an hour for your luggage?

It’s literally coming out one piece every two minutes.

The door opens and we can see the baggage handler scratching his arse with a mountain of bags behind him!

User

No thank you. My first and last time flying LCY. Easy to get to via DLR. That was the best part of the experience. British Airways agent refused to check in me and my husband together yet families were checking in together. Agent was rude and clearly discriminated. We are OneWorld Emerald and never have been treated that way. She refused to give her name to my husband. No preferred security for elite flyers. Security was horrible. There was an extremely long wait for bags to be hand searched. Mine was pulled aside because of my asthma inhaler. I was told it had to be in the plastic bag. The agent proceeds to put in the plastic bag as I told her I’m only going to take it right out. When I asked why are the rules different out Heathrow white my inhaler and I received no answer as she was clueless. We fly out of Heathrow 99% of the time and never had to put my inhaler in a plastic bag. Finally no British Airways lounge. Never again.

User

New: experiencing a 3 hour delay for a 1.5 flight, not being handled very well in terms of keeping passengers informed...of anything other than 1 announcement that we should walk from the departure lounge to gate 13 to queue for vouchers.... poor.

Not enough staff to do their random security checks in good time and consistently can’t count the bags going on the plane.

User

KLM lost my carry on bag yesterday so had to cancel my business meeting in Bern today and KLM can’t be bothered to sort it out. 24 hrs later NOTHING from them. KLM & London City airport never again. It’s a bag with a label on it - not rocket science. £2000 worth of equipment in there and they don’t care. AVOID 👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿

User

It is close to Central London. Beyond that there is nothing to recommend it. Very small so overwhelmed when even half busy. Stressed so rude security. Inadequate cafes and toilet facilities. I could go on. Even though close to London it is not straightforward to access, essentially reliant on the DLR so when it is not running (often) access is poor

User

In 15 years of business travel across the world, I have never seen a disgusting, dirty airport like London City. If this is the impression that the city of London wants to give to the world, then it is world class...3rd country world class!

Some examples, the plastic bags for toiletries and hygienic products sit cm away from where people throw rubbish in, the floors are as clean as a pig enclosure, and the grey trays are so dirty.... yet the staff thinks this is not a problem!

User

I urge anyone considering using this Airport to think again, my experience pales in comparison to what some people have posted here before me.

Having to pass through security is at its best an adventure and at its worst an Orwellian nightmare. Seemingly a Lynx Travel size spray-can was the culprit !

Which was rather interesting for a couple of reasons.

My brother who I was also travelling with had the same one as well and he got through relatively unscathed (still had to got through full body scan and swab and pat down) and here's the absurd part you can buy the exact same one in the shop in the departure lounge :)))

But thts not the end of it ! We managed to find a few seats to sit down by Gate 1 our flight designation, thinking we had at least 25 minutes before boarding, it was only by shear luck that we turned around and saw that boarding had started ! No announcement ! Nothing at all !

So we queued up brother went through had his pass on his phone as did I he scanned his fine he went through, now its mine turn put the phone down and nope nothing your boarding pass has not be recognized we need to allocate you a different seat at the front ! (I realized this was not the fault of the Airport the blame lies with CityJet, I included it because it added to an already crap situation)

Managed to sort it out with the stewardess o the plane they had the passenger list and clearly a mistake had been made and the seat which was supposed to be allocated to me was actually empty, sorted.

If this was a once of piece of bad luck I would accept it! But here's the thing, I already knew about the hassle from reading the reviews here before I went !

I thought nah it couldn't be that bad could it! I was wrong, very wrong.

Please heed my warning, I have traveled lot and never experience anything quite like this. Its a small airport that deals with a lot of people and it quite simply cannot cope.

The funny thing is as you leave the security area they have one of those customer survey stands that you press button to say how you felt about going through security, guess which button I pressed. I await the "Sorry to hear you had a bad expierience CAA guidelines etc... One last thing the spraycan was in a clear plastic bag that was supplied by the airport. Thanks you for reading, safe travels.

User

I travelled from LCY to AMS on Tuesday evening June 19th. The ground staff checked in my bag with another passenger’s name. I reported the case when I arrived at Schiphol airport. But 5 days passed, despite the fact that the bag has been found at London City airport, the staff there somehow have been ignoring all the messages KLM sent. No words on when the bag will be sent back! I even tried to call various number at LCY, none went through or was simply got cut as “they are not open”! This is both ridiculous and frustrating! I just want a definite answer on when my bag will be sent back! And your phone lines need to be checked - if you do not plan to service your customers, simply do not make any fake PR messages!

User

I have been trying to get in touch with CityJet for days to no avail. My bag was lost between LCY and FLR, all other passenger bags were sent and mine has not arrived. I was only in Florence for one night and have now left. I have no my yet received my bag and no one has been able to tell me where it is. I have medication in my bag and the response I have received is that there are 1000’s of bags lost at LCY and I am not the only passenger with medication so I should stop calling. FLRWX10307

How do you give no stars???

Well done to the London City airport staff yesterday that chose my sister's young family and our mum to be singled out to be taken off the flight to Florence once at the departure gate!! Some poor excuse about the aeroplane being 'too hot' and heavy so they needed to take 8 people off?! My sister, my niece and nephew all together wouldn't weigh the same as an average man. How exactly do planes work in really hot countries??? Or was it all to cover the fact that they had messed up and overbooked the flight??

The City Jet staff were being very helpful and booked them on to the 8pm flight to Milan but that unfortunately was cancelled.

So now not only are they missing their friend's wedding but my amazing, tough mum is missing out on her first holiday in 7 years (she has spent over 6 years caring for my ill father) and her first holiday since my dad passed away last September.

There is special place in hell for the 2 men that chose a young family with a toddler crying with confusion as he wasn't allowed on the plane. They are trying to book any flights to Italy this weekend but as they are 3 adults and 2 children it is proving very difficult. Please explain how you can justify this treatment of passengers? My family are very upset.

User

Fire alarm. Been standing outside for over an hour to get back in with no movement. No communication from staff at all. Utterly diabolical customer service and pathetic procedures for fire alarm situations.

User

Awful. I remember when London City Airport was a great airport, but it’s infrastructure is now unable to cope with it’s avaricious over expansion. The Check In/ baggage drop lobby is chaotic overcrowded and not fit for purpose. There is a consistent pattern of delayed flights and lost luggage and the public contact numbers go unanswered. I would give it no stars if I could
