Third visit to LHA and I couldn't be any happier. Beautiful and sweet Japanese Saori did exactly what I have asked her for while her friendly tutor Hanna supervised her moves and reassured I would leave their premisses with a smile on my face. And of course I did.

Just finished the 4 systems extension course with no hairdressing experience. Brilliant course and superbly taught by April. Class of 6 and great girls. Hoping to go back and learn to cut and blend soon. Would highly recommend.

Just finished the 4 system hair extension course and absolutely loved it! Everyone on the course was a team and enjoyed helping each other. My tutor April was extremely good at explaining the different methods and making people feel welcome. I would recommend this academy to anyone I know!

Just completed the micro loop hair extension course, had such an amazing time! Loved the academy and I can not wait to come back and do more courses.



Jackie was such an amazing teacher! So helpful and went through everything over and over to make sure we definitely knew what we was doing!

To be honest the school is great on a whole everyone is so polite and make you feel so comfortable!

Everyone is friendly and it's super easy to book. Great prices too!

I've been attending the make up school for 2 years now and I always enjoy myself - this is through meeting new people, learning new tips and I like it especially because of the warm hearted friendly staff who constantly walk around with smiles on their faces no matter how early of the day it is and I admire their work ethic. The make up school is so good that I had to get my sister registered and although she can only do weekends due to education commitments, she enjoys the experience aswell. I also very much like being picked for being the demo for the class, it boosts my confidence up a bit haha. But overall this is the place to be and I enjoy spending the majority of my day there ­¤śŖ.

I love this place - everyone works really hard and are incredibly friendly and caring. The tutors are really knowledgeable and the students are very well monitored. I suffer from anxiety and they really make me feel at home. The atmosphere always has a buzz and the conversations are entertaining so the time goes super quick.

I love coming to the Academy, l've been a model 5 times now and going again today. I've had both cuts and colours (most of them free!) and have been completely satisfied with the results everytime. The tutors are continually walking round keeping a watchful eye on the students, stepping in to help out if they see anyone struggling. Most students have some history in the hairdressing industry. There is always a friendly reception and atmosphere whether you go early in the morning or later in the evening. You need to allow at least 2 hours per visit. My only negative is that it is on the 3rd floor of the building with no lift which is a bit of a killer as l'm of the older generation but l know it will be totally worth it in the long run. My hair has never been so good!!

I have been many times always had a great experience great cut and the last visit a great colour and cut with Ken ( one of the the student ). You are not done quickly so make sure you have plenty of time as this is a training academy and the students need the time to learn. The teachers are there with a great technic in training the students and give the students advice and tutorial thoughout the service. I've never left with a bad cut so don't worry that it's free and your a ginnypig the tutors are there to ensure no one has a bad cut.

I did have my reservations before my appointment but Carlotta (student hair stylist and artist) was just fantastic, such a professional with a warm, bubbly personality. She listened, advised and executed my vision perfectly, paying great attention to detail. Her tutor was also lovely and on hand to instruct, make shrewd suggestions and advise accordingly. Absolutely loved my final look and now looking forward to Carlotta working her magic again! Definitely going to revisit.

I came to LND hair & beauty several times for modeling in these past years and I really love it. Very professional environment and a good place for modeling.

First time going to a hair academy to get a haircut, was a little worried but having tried cutting my hair in the past and having to live with the consequences of my untrained actions, came in with an open minded approach.



When I went in I was allowed to decide the type of cut, and also followed with a wash and style, which was incredible!!



Lorraine was very helpful, easy to talk to, and reassuring. Her student Akshay was brilliant, and had a h-air (couldn't resist myself) of quiet confidence about him, which came through with his work. Both tutor and Student went above and beyond my expectations, and I couldn't be happier to leave a positive review to them both, and the London hair academy in general. Will definitely be back!

Amazing experience with a level 2 Francesca, listened and completely understand my wants. The tutor Autumn, extremely knowledgeable advised I would not be able to go grey as my hair was too dark. She advised me of the best root of action to eventually achieve my goals with out breaking my hair.

I left feeling completely happy ’┐Į and was the best experience iv had with a hairdresser of any kind.

After being really unhappy with the way they treated me I was contacted by Amal from the academy who was very apologetic she booked me in straight away and even offered me the booking for free I would like to say a big Thank You to Seray Hussein you did the Brazilian blow dry on my hair was left very happy and pleased with the results would definitely recommend the London Hair Academy ’┐Į Thank You ’┐Į

I've had my hair done three times - first colour was not bad although it did the usual gold/warm tones even though I specifically asked to make it cooler. That's fair enough, I know it's difficult but it did upset me a bit that I told my student I have an auto immune problem that has caused my hair to thin and look in bad condition and she kept on telling me to use hair conditioner and serum *which I definitely do. It just reminded me my hair isn't great at the moment and it's out of my control until my medical condition is under control. Second time I had it cut off *see above ’┐Į I realised no point trying to keep it long while it looks like this. That was fine, the student was ADORABLE and although it was odd because I wasn't getting a haircut I wanted but one I needed it has grown out nicely. Third time I had it dyed and it was fantastic - no warm tones and it looked lush. She wasn't that chatty but that's fine by me ’┐Į. Only thing is struggling to get an appt but I understand why they are so busy. Unlike some other high street salon student nights I've been to they actually listen and try to give you what you want rather than fitting into a specific "salon look". I really do recommend - the reception girls are also great and so friendly.
