We visited santa after pre-booking online. We booked about 10 days in advance as spaces were filling up fast.



We arrived on time for our booking and were seen straight away. The walk into the grotto was lovely and our little girl loved all the lights.



Santa was kind and patient (what else could you expect from santa himself?) even when our little girl was a bit unsure of him (this was her first santa visit), he tried his best to interact with her and make her comfortable.



The gift was lovely. Much nicer than I had expected for a £5 price tag! Photos were a little pricey but they are optional.

We brought our huge Christmas tree last weekend and put it up Wednesday, my three year old grandson arrived today and actually said I like your tree, that means the world to us, thanks Longacres for another fantastic tree, Merry Christmas to all the staff �

Visited today so my 2 year old daughter could meet Santa and it was fab! the Stanta was just brilliant so kind and patient with my little girl who was a little scared. she loved all the decorations and it was just amazing to see her little face lit up, definitley has put us in the xmas spirit now! was also very pleased with gift you get 10/10 would definitley recomend

Visited the grotto today with our two children, it was fantastic! Huge value for money, the area was really well decorated, no queues, Father Christmas was lovely, chatted to our daughter for ages, she was convinced that this was the 'real one'! Presents were great quality and we'll definitely be booking for next year. Love the centre too with a huge Christmas display and lots of variety.

I cannot thank you enough, you really took our vision and created flowers we could never have even expected, they completely surpassed our expectations. The buttonholes, table arrangements and bouquets we're all perfection. You are an extremely talented florist, and it was such a pleasure to have your work at our wedding.

Sarah at Longacres did our wedding bouquets. They were absolutely stunning, more beautiful than I ever imagined! (They brought my Dad to tears when he saw them!) Sarah worked so hard to create the perfect bouquet and match the flowers and colours that I wanted. I would definitely recommend Longacres to friends in the area for great service and fabulous flowers.

Not visited in person, but I received some plants through the post yesterday. The plants were of excellent quality and were also excellently packaged. Their customer service is brilliant too. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again, though the look on my husbands face when he saw yet more plants, may suggest otherwise!

My partners must go to place when in the area ... which seem to be getting more frequent?



No dogs is a real bind and totally unnecessary.

We always have ours with us as we call in when passing by on trips from portsmouth to peterborough and will not leave him in the car. So only one of us can be in the store at a time.



Please get this sorted. We would buy more if we shopped together.

My friend and I went to longacres in Bagshot today with the intention of buying plants after we had a coffee, so we started to look around and saw all your garden furniture on display I really liked a rattan garden set and went up to the young man at the desk whose name we found out to be Tom and asked him about it I wanted to know the colour of the parasol of which he said he would go and get one for me to spook at.

My friend liked a Sun bed but it had no price on it so he found that out for her, he then came and found me to show me the colour, my friend and i have worked in retail for many years and i must say that Tom was outstanding with his customer services what a credit to your company he is, hence my friend purchase the Sun bed and i purchased the garden furniture thank you Tom for putting up with us I really do not think he will forget us

My cousin and I took our kids to see santa yesterday and they LOVED it, so pleased we pre-booked. Santa was so genuine with the kids, and looked like a ‘proper’ santa. Good work longacres. So reasonably priced and with 4 kids and buying 3 photos it was still cheaper than other places we looked at. We’ll be back next year! X

Love coming up from Wales to our favourite garden centre. At least every one/ two weeks. Just wish I could buy the bigger plants. Always have lunch there and always buy the beautiful marinaded meat.

I love Longacres anyway but this review is for Santa’s Grotto (visited on 8 Dec). I loved the bit where you waited ... wooden bridges, twinkly lights, penguins, reindeer. Santa himself was amazing. We didn’t feel rushed in the slightest. He was fab to chat to and great with our girls. The elves were super helpful too. The gifts were lovely and really great quality. Also great to have a professional photographer there too although there was no pressure to buy and own photos were also permitted. I couldn’t fault a thing. Hope to book for next year!!

I have been coming to Longacres since I moved to Ascot 7 years ago. I absolutely love it. It has everything I need and more and all at reasonable prices. Longacres have also been kind enough to donate plants to my children’s primary school on several occasions.

I have been coming here for 17 years and it’s been 17 years of excellence. Great to see a local business keeps evolving, growing and getting better with it and of course excellent staff. Keep it up.

I brought my young daughter here for the summer fun event and she loved it, very well organised and the women that run it were brilliant, excellent value for money, hope you repeat it next year.

Christmas range was amazing, will be back before Christmas and again in the new year. Disabled parking was so well thought out which can be frustrating at times with our disabled little boy and his wheelchair so a huge well done �

Also, it might be a good idea to have some trolleys indoors as I didn’t take a trolley in with me as I wasn’t expecting to buy much, of course I ended up needing a trolley & had to dump my goods whilst I dashed outside to get a trolley & carry on shopping. I visit from Southampton a few times a year as I love the vast array of products all under one roof. I love the clothes and always indulge and likewise in the fab food Hall. Some products are more expensive than the same in other garden centres which is a shame but over all I am a fan and can happily spend a few hours exploring. However, Luke other reviews the cafe let's it down, unhelpful staff ( even a simple doable request was refused) and food was priced for a restaurant instead of the canteen style eating area. Such a shame as it can spoil a visit

I really like Longacres but please can we have some proper bicycle parking? This morning I had to lash it to a lampost as there was a selection of water features where the cycle stays used to be. Thank you.

Brilliant garden centre worth the drive

I just ordered a balloon bouquet for father's day online and it only gave me the option to get it delivered on Monday which was a shame as it allowed me to send my mother's day balloons on the Sunday. I ordered anyway but thought I ring up and ask about it. The first person I called was a bit rude and told me that if it didn't say Sunday then that was the answer. I asked to be put through to the actual department and they were really very helpful and said it wasn't a problem they could deliver locally on Fathers day at no extra cost. So I give 2 stars for the grumpy unhelpful person who answered the phone and 5 stars for the wonderfully helpful 2 ladies in the flower ordering department.

Visited the store for the first time Saturday with my family, my mum brought personalised Xmas decorations for each of the grandchildren to hang on the tree. When we got home which is 25mins away we opened the bag and there was a decoration was missing but was on the receipt. We called straight away to explain and spoke to a lady that asked us to re check and she would check the cctv rang back and advised nothing at the tills so we must of taken. This was £2.99 which was not the point however the lady on the phone was persistent that it was not at the till and that we must have picked it up, if we did we would not have called. It was left that she was going to call back but nothing! We have now a granddaughter without a decoration which did ask if they could post. The lady never called back, very poor customer service! Would not visit again due to the way this was dealt with

They say you don't need to book on the website. We arrived along with other people and walk in closed. After complaining as the communication from them to the public is far from factual. We are now in the queue but in sure we will still be here next Christmas. Absolutely disgusted that they can't get this right for the sake of the kids....

2 I didnt have items once I got home

Love coming up from Wales to our favourite garden centre. At least every one/ two weeks. Just wish I could buy the bigger plants. Always have lunch there and always buy the beautiful marinaded meat.

I’ve shopped here for many years and I have to say this year you have totally excelled yourself with your Christmas displays and products . Bought far too much as always but that’s a good sign !!

I recently got married and Sarah from long acres did my wedding flowers, Sarah really listened to my ideas and made great suggestions, she was a delight to work with. The bouquets and venue flowers were all very beautiful and gave the venue the style and theme I so wanted. I couldn't have wished for more. Melissa

I love Longacres anyway but this review is for Santa’s Grotto (visited on 8 Dec). I loved the bit where you waited ... wooden bridges, twinkly lights, penguins, reindeer. Santa himself was amazing. We didn’t feel rushed in the slightest. He was fab to chat to and great with our girls. The elves were super helpful too. The gifts were lovely and really great quality. Also great to have a professional photographer there too although there was no pressure to buy and own photos were also permitted. I couldn’t fault a thing. Hope to book for next year!!

I have been coming to Longacres since I moved to Ascot 7 years ago. I absolutely love it. It has everything I need and more and all at reasonable prices. Longacres have also been kind enough to donate plants to my children’s primary school on several occasions.

I have been coming here for 17 years and it’s been 17 years of excellence. Great to see a local business keeps evolving, growing and getting better with it and of course excellent staff. Keep it up.

I brought my young daughter here for the summer fun event and she loved it, very well organised and the women that run it were brilliant, excellent value for money, hope you repeat it next year.

Had a wonderful afternoon here! Started off with our delicious lunch & then browsing around! Spent plenty on myself & oh! even bought some lovely plants! We always come here it's the best!!

Got our wedding flowers from here and I was absolutely in love with everything they created for us. Julie was so helpful in helping me pick my flowers and decide upon my centre pieces. An amazing job by the team. Thank you.

Got everything that I wanted , saw a stand promoting Yorkshire goods which is nice, ample parking.

Fabulous place with lots of variety in every department. Especially enjoyed our lunch in cafe Amore- such attentive staff, thank you for making us so welcome.

Excellent garden centre and all round shopping experience . The staff are knowledgeable and friendly.Cafe Amore serves up delicious fresh well presented food.

Christmas range was amazing, will be back before Christmas and again in the new year. Disabled parking was so well thought out which can be frustrating at times with our disabled little boy and his wheelchair so a huge well done �

A great place to visit all year round but especially at Christmas. Massive selection of plants and garden gifts as well as other gifts and a very good restaurant , overall had a great time there!

Visited yesterday & was mystified as to why the singing/dancing penguins in the Christmas tableau were singing in SPANISH?????

Also bought two items that were on a two for a cheaper price ( poppy bird feeders) didn’t come up as a deal at the till. The lady had to go outside to check the sign & ring my discount into the till

Also, it might be a good idea to have some trolleys indoors as I didn’t take a trolley in with me as I wasn’t expecting to buy much, of course I ended up needing a trolley & had to dump my goods whilst I dashed outside to get a trolley & carry on shopping. People might buy more if the trolleys were more accessible? Just a thought

I visit from Southampton a few times a year as I love the vast array of products all under one roof. I love the clothes and always indulge and likewise in the fab food Hall. Some products are more expensive than the same in other garden centres which is a shame but over all I am a fan and can happily spend a few hours exploring. However, Luke other reviews the cafe let's it down, unhelpful staff ( even a simple doable request was refused) and food was priced for a restaurant instead of the canteen style eating area. Such a shame as it can spoil a visit

I really like Longacres but please can we have some proper bicycle parking? This morning I had to lash it to a lampost as there was a selection of water features where the cycle stays used to be. Thank you.

Brilliant garden centre worth the drive

I just ordered a balloon bouquet for father's day online and it only gave me the option to get it delivered on Monday which was a shame as it allowed me to send my mother's day balloons on the Sunday. I ordered anyway but thought I ring up and ask about it. The first person I called was a bit rude and told me that if it didn't say Sunday then that was the answer. I asked to be put through to the actual department and they were really very helpful and said it wasn't a problem they could deliver locally on Fathers day at no extra cost. So I give 2 stars for the grumpy unhelpful person who answered the phone and 5 stars for the wonderfully helpful 2 ladies in the flower ordering department.

Visited the store for the first time Saturday with my family, my mum brought personalised Xmas decorations for each of the grandchildren to hang on the tree. When we got home which is 25mins away we opened the bag and there was a decoration was missing but was on the receipt. We called straight away to explain and spoke to a lady that asked us to re check and she would check the cctv rang back and advised nothing at the tills so we must of taken. This was £2.99 which was not the point however the lady on the phone was persistent that it was not at the till and that we must have picked it up, if we did we would not have called. It was left that she was going to call back but nothing! We have now a granddaughter without a decoration which did ask if they could post. The lady never called back, very poor customer service! Would not visit again due to the way this was dealt with

They say you don't need to book on the website. We arrived along with other people and walk in closed. After complaining as the communication from them to the public is far from factual. We are now in the queue but in sure we will still be here next Christmas. Absolutely disgusted that they can't get this right for the sake of the kids....

Sadly my experience of Longacres was poor today.... Disappointed with customer service.

1. I was overcharged for a promotion

2 I didnt have items once I got home

3 I have to come i to store to have refund as I dont like giving card details over the phone

4. I still dont have items .

5 the lady I spoke to was less that helpful saying it was my fault I didnt have items !!

not a happy customer seeing as though I spent nearly £100 with you ...
