Open to women and gender-variant people of colour. If you identify as queer, non-binary, femme, etc - we welcome you all!

Please share! The London Bike Kitchen and Vélo-City-Girl are hosting another women of colour cycling meet up at 49 Old St. on Monday 21st of January from 7pm.

Wonderfully quirky bicycle repair centre that's turned into a coffee shop and bar.

Set in a goodsized shed/warehouse with indoor sitting space and a partially covered yard full of bikes and trestle tables. The coffee smelt good, but I'd had my fix earlier in the day so had a beer and a delicious roll/bap/bready thing stuffed full of veggie goodies. Great atmosphere, helpful staff.

We ordered a sweatshirt as a Christmas gift, complicated by the fact a family member ordered it as a surprise. Unfortunately it didn't fit and we were offered a refund or exchange. We opted for a refund which took a bit of sorting out as the original card we used to pay for it had been changed. The staff at Look Mum No Hands were excellent, rang us back when they said they would. Excellent service and communication and matter quickly resolved. First class customer service! Thanks Guys x

Ps with service like this it makes you want to go back :)

Up in London for family wedding & 5 of us popped in for breakfast on both the mornings we were there. Was excellent! Food was freshly cooked, tasty & well presented, good choice and we felt very good value for money. Juices & coffees were very nice too! Staff friendly & efficient and we loved the layout. Good size place with plenty of tables inside & several outside. Would definitely recommend!

User

Nice relaxing place to be at. Lots of bikes friendly staff great food and drinks. Suitable for everyone

I was curious to see the concept of a coffee shop with a bicycle workshop. I found out that at LMNH it works brilliantly! The employees were very kind! Had a cappuccino with a croissant and treated myself to a banana Cap and a jumper..wish they will open something similar in southern Switzerland!

User

I wanted to put a new frame on my bike and I had a specific budget in mind. The guys helped me find the frame and fitted everything while I was away on holiday. Going down a frame size was definitely the right thing to do and the frame is fantastic - so responsive like it isn’t made of steel!

It's so nice to work with people who are knowledgeable but who also share your excitement for a project. Thank you for all the good work, your patience and advice!

User

I love LMNH - quiet enough to work during the daytime, a great meeting point for business or pleasure, tasty food and coffee, and an excellent event venue to boot - bonus if you like bikes!

User

Great vibe to the place with good food to boot - made a point of dropping in on a recent visit to London and celebrated surviving my maiden bike ride across the city with a yummy cheeseburger before heading off to Euston station for my journey home.

User

Great concept, great vibe and unique space. Like it

User

Friendly People Great beer and superb hamburgers and foods and a bike shop inside perfect

Fantastic bike servicing, fast efficient and ultra helpful. Snapped my chain and they had me back on road in 10 minutes, and great value. 6 stars

User

Cant beat when the socks you bought had a fault but you only find out when you back in South Africa. Simona was super awesome in helping me. She sent me a replacement pair in April 2016. Waited a month and heard nothing from our Post Office (they are useless like this). She just mailed me now to say they have returned to the UK with a not claimed attached. Simona just mailed to me ask if she can send it to that same address or another. Didn't need to do this. Simona you deserve a HI5 and a cup of Coffee. Thanks for the awesome service

User

Banana Jersey arrived today🍌🍌🍌

Thank you for a wonderful item. I'm so happy!

Someday I will go!!!

The food was good (has the vegetarian breakfast) but it didn't really have a cycling vibe beyond the workshop and the decor / stuff for sale. As an actual cyclist in cycling gear with a bike, I felt like we were the odd ones out. Also don't like leaving my bike outside (on a bike rack that was filled with bikes which looked like they were there for decor barely leaving space to actually lock a bike up); even if there was an option to bring a bike in it wouldn't be possible as the place barely has space for the people. I'd go back, but only if I was around and on foot...

User

I've been wanting to go to this place and finally, after 4 years of talking about it I did it! We had one pint of pale ale with a friend and I had a toasted sandwich. Beer and booze were fine but for all these we paid slightly over £15 which seemed a bit expensive but not surprised as it is based on Old Street and I bet they must pay the rent somehow. Cool merchandising stuff all around but not cheap at all! I liked the dedicated cycling space which made it easy but not too impressed overall. Staff seemed fine too. Will need to visit again to make up my mind!

User

Great place, great beer, lovely coffee. We watched the Tour de France all afternoon. We were meant to stay for the Katusha talk in the evening but it was so hot and with no air conditioning, we decided to go elsewhere. Shame. But it is ridiculously hot at the moment.

User

Trying Tooooooooo Hard to be Cool and living on fleeting fame at some point I'm sure it was cool now it's just a average cafe charging people to be cool

User

The coffee's not bad and the cakes were quite good but the attitude from the waiting staff was not what I came for. Probably more for the hipster market than the real cyclist.

User

Its ok... Disorganised bunch of bike fanatics.. So you either love it and accept or go elsewhere. Nice for a novelty visit although with so many amazing places to visit its not on the top of the list.
