THANK YOU AND GOODBYE!
Dear Friends, Members and ALL!, I just wanted to say a HUGE Thank You to everyone that has been part of my journey over the past 4 years! It has been my privilege to work for and with you all, creating this fantastic space for our community. I’ve learnt so much from you all and it has helped make be a better person, for which I’m grateful.... I have met some amazing people along the way with passion, skills and a love of their community that has rarely been harnessed in such a comprehensive and positive way as it has here at Lordship Hub, I’m so proud to have been a part of this story. I am not moving too far as I am taking up a role with Haringey Council’s Parks Dept as a Parks Project Officer and will also be continuing in my role on the Board of the Cooperative, so I will be around, keeping a weather eye on the progress being made. So, keep doing the amazing things that you do so well for our parks and community spaces, even if you just pop in for a cuppa every now and then, you are all fantastic and your support is what makes the Hub such a special place!
Best wishes, Glynis. X P.S My last day at the Hub is Wednesday 12th Sept, so please feel free to stop by and have a cuppa on me.

****Important Please Read**** @haringeycouncil need our help to make sure young and new trees are watered during this hot spell. Waste water from baths or washing up bowls can be used, poured into the water pipe or directly onto the base of the tree. 🌳🌱🌿

We had my daughter's 3rd birthday party in The Hub. Pre-party organisation was prompt, helpful and friendly. On the day, they provided party food and were just very lovely. Really love that this is so local to us.

User

Was a really nice clean place to go.lovley food, bit like being on holiday

User

I’m a local and love the park! Great little paddling pool for the young ones, a pond with some ducks (some level of nature) and obviously a children’s park along with a open gym.

Not the forget the hub, that serves food and drink with the availability of a restroom!! Since the restoration of the park, it’s developed a lot and Serves the community’s needs!! So much to do for the youth, The only downside I can say is the foul smell you get when crossing the bridge otherwise a stroll within the Rec is very relaxing!!

User

I can't believe I have only just discovered this place. It is a little oasis.

User

Great place with friendly staff and nice food. There is plenty of different classes, clubs and other interesting activities for adults and children. My favourite is definitely Tuesday’s evenings Yoga classes which I’m attending and enjoying regularly.

User

Great community resource. Staff and volunteers doing a great job to make this park a welcoming and fun place for all.
