Over the last few years we've seen the importance of activism in play.
Here at LSE Labour, we want to make sure everyone who wants to get involved can - which is why we'll be holding an Activism 101 workshop and campaigning session during Michaelmas Term, open to all. ๐ŸŒน๐ŸŒน

Here at LSE Labour, we want to discuss the great policies we want to see Labour implement in government.
In Michaelmas Term, we'll be holding our first Pizza and Policy of the year - on inequality.
Come along to discuss your ideas and have some pizza (on us, of course) ๐Ÿ•๐ŸŒน

The day has arrived! On polling day, we will be heading to Hampstead Town to support James Slater and his Labour team. Getting the vote out is so incredibly important, and Hampstead have so many people to speak to on this day, so as much help as possible would be amazing.
We will be door-knocking, leafleting and speaking to people at train stations etc, so plenty to do. We're aware that lots of us have exams around polling day, so James has offered us a 'revision room' in the house where we can revise in between sessions.
We know this is an incredibly busy time of year for you all, but even sparing an hour could make all the difference.

As the local elections near, we encourage our members to canvass for Labour gains over the city.
For many, it may be your first election or first time campaigning. Donโ€™t let this put you off!
Below are a few graphics answering some questions weโ€™ve heard from new activists.

๐ŸŒน๐ŸŒน๐ŸŒน๐ŸŒน Join us on the #LabourDoorstep to get our fantastic LSE Labour member Daniel Johnston elected as a councillor in Wimbledon!!!
We'll be meet outside Wimbledon station at 11AM (main exit - by the District Line). We'll have plenty of big Labour placards, lots of rosettes and leaflets so y'all can easily spot us + we can grab a lovely big group photo before we start pounding the pavements spreading the Labour message.
Don't worry if you have never canvassed before as there'...ll be plenty of experienced canvassers to buddy up with and there'll be plenty of roles for those less comfortable with conversating!!
So come join us on Sunday as we spread our positive, inclusive Labour message and help turn a blue seat, RED!!!!! ๐ŸŒน๐ŸŒน๐ŸŒน๐ŸŒน๐ŸŒน

LSE SU Labourโ€™s Response to Recent Incidences of Anti-Semitism in the Labour Party
LSE SU Labour has zero tolerance for anti-semitism within our club or within our party.
We have been shocked by the events of this week and disappointed in the response from both the party leader and parts of the wider membership. Labour needs to make sure that anti-semitism is combatted at every level of the party, and that our Jewish members feel listened to and welcomed within our movement....
Every member of our committee is to be required to take anti-semitism training in the coming year, and our members will also be encouraged to do so.
Our utmost priority is that the Jewish community feels safe and accepted in our party, and we are deeply saddened that the events of this week have put that into question.
In solidarity,
LSE SU Labour
